boxers on that level go in there with all kinds of

Dereck Chisora fractured his left in July that forced him to withdraw from his rematch against Tyson Fury in July.
:
I've heard it was his right that got fractured.
And after what Fury did to Abell ( clear intentional low blows) i hope he gets all his teeths broken by this another headcase Chisora.

Thank You. You described this better than I ever could.

It looks like it is coming off afterall. I'm pleasantly surprised. Now the issue is when will it be on TV in the US. 3 different times listed that all claim to be EST.

Yeah I have no idea when the fight will take place today...and where to watch it. ESPN3? I have like hundreds of channels on cable, including ESPN2...but I can't find any ESPN3.
Maybe it's online? I wish I knew.

His wife had just had a miscarriage too, Chisora had pulled out, then his Uncle was on life support in hospital. Very few fighters would have gone ahead with the fight in those circumstances and even if he wanted to fight, he'd have been on his own with no one in the corner.

It's online. NOT on TV in the US. Go to: espn3.com online.

Problem is espn3.com has it listed @ 3:15 EST on one page and 6 EST on another page.

Fury is being the "bad guy" like in wrestling, and I'm ok with that.

What I'm not ok with is that he agreed to fight Ustinov and then backed-out after the weigh-in.

People should worship Fury for several reasons:
1. Such a cool and non-Russian name.
2. How can people call him average? Pulev is still ranked no. 3 on boxrec. If that bum is supposed to be the third best heavy in the world, then that would make Fury no. 2.
3. He might be many things, but he's not boring and you don't need a translator to understand him.
4. Did I mention that he's not from the Warsaw Pact? Ivan Drago gave us a completely false picture of the alleged coolness of those guys, maybe because he was actually Swedish. The WWE shows us how cool that gimmick can still be with Rusev and his valet Lana (Putin worshippers with an anti-American attitude).
5. He's the kind of heel that the Soviet boxers were supposed to be.

I wouldn't say anything.

Claiming you'll bust ribs in the ring, or calling your opponent "The washer woman,"" like Ali did, a dude should be able to accept that, are things that would pass muster with me.

Spitting water in your opponent's face like Chisora did, or ripping up a flag like someone else did are examples of going too far. Ali calling Frazier "ugly" was ok, but calling him "Uncle Tom,' went too far IMO.

I'd be curious to hear other people' opinion on this.

"... proper bloke...." Doesn't translate to
"... OK dude..."?
Sorry, I thought "proper" inferred good or righteous and "bloke" just meant... Dude. I meant no offense.
The question still remains.... Is FURY really a compete ASSHOLE and idiot? Or is it all an act and he's actually a cool dude? You know... Like

A parallel could be "Prince Naseem Hamed".... Acted like an idiot ... And in reality... Probably was an idiot. Sort of like Chris Eubanks. Is Tyson FURY really such a HYPERBOLIC douchebag like he portrays in the media? Does anyone know him? Met him? Just curious.

Oh, such fond memories. The current heavy division desperately needs a Prince Naseem!

One thing I will say about Fury, he has a bright future in show business.......as a big Viking or something. He has character, that is for sure. Him bragging about being built for speed and athleticism is another thing though... :OhYes:

Doesn't look good for a future match against Klitschko.
Who knows how sick Fury will be before that match happens. I'm not optimistic we'll see him against Wlad this spring.
Would Wlad be stripped of the WBO belt if he decided to fight Jennings first?

Fury dominated from the off.
He used his reach, southpaw transition, overall physical attributes and a jab to keep Chisora at bay.
One way traffic.
