ha, i've had to raid the mrs music collection, prefer a more chilled out vibe so viewers can concentrate on the skills, although might go all out with my preferred genre of satanic black metal for the next video

And yeah, i am a tall lanky fellow myself so always enjoyed studying the rangy fighters, especially the ones that could fight so well inside with those long arms, Corrales a modern guy that did it well, might do something on him next

we all have things to overcome eh mate, i've got arms and reach like an orangutan, but shoulders so small i can't even tuck my chin down, tried a few of Fosters moves in the gym last night and my attempts make Brandon Rios look like a defensive master

Yes murderers row charley burley They reckon he was the best fighter to never win a world title, Archie Moore I'm sure said he was the best ever, he defeated Moore who we know is an all time great.
I don't think it's by arlovski but don't quote me, burley video been up a while.

I remember a Hopkins analysis of Trinidad fight was up on YouTube a while ago but seems to have disappeared was great insight and showed how rough Hopkins was with the head etc in the infamous bout just after 9/11

I've no idea as to how much time is involved in your analysis videos. When I tried to box I attempted to emulate Don Curry. Would you please consider doing an analysis of a prime Curry? He was an extraordinary counter puncher.

Corrales could defo punch in close he had good snap in his hips, however, not a patch on the guys you e covered so far technically. He was very hittable and attacked in straight lines. Loved him when he was fighting though RIP.

great analysis - foster made the best of everything he had. the lead shoulder and sideways stance allowed him to stay close enough to use his powerful stinging jab pretty much at will. I'm not convinced that he was an "elegant" mover or that his balance was great, but again he made his weight distribution work so well in his favour that only against much heavier guys, I'm thinking of the frazier 2nd round defeat, did it become an issue. as you have said, against quarry he offered almost zero worthwhile target.

i think his balance was very good in the context of his frame, mate, as arlovski kinda says. Unusual with such long legs and arms for a fighter not to end up looking very leggy/awkward at times. Whilst i agree i wouldn't call him elegant, the fact he didn't ever look like peter crouch on speed, in a sport very unforgiving on those things, makes me think his balance must have been excellent, almost by default. A lot of us tall leggy blokes end up wishing we'd been born 5'4" Mexicans, ha.

ok we disagree - sort of - because I did say he made his lesser talents work in his favour. a lesson to all the not-so-slick young guys in our sport; find a way of making it work for you
