No way Etches would be allowed to take that fight. O Sullivan is surely the right fight. He can sell a fight and using Matty Hall as a rough yardstick, Eubank would be far too good for O Sullivan

His dad !!! He's such a distraction when jr is in the corner of a fight
Re: Who should Eubank Jr fight next?
Kovalev - the way Jr surged down the stretch, i doubt the Russian could keep up.
Re: Who should Eubank Jr fight next?
I don't think this would go past 3-4 in Jnrs favourAnzi wrote:The best fight for him would be buglioni, who has called out Eubank jr, it would be a big seller, grudge match and Eubank jr would stop him, they should of made that fight before Billie joe,he would have still been unbeaten and more experienced for a Billie joe fight, I had him winning by 1 round against Billie Joe, but could not argue it the other way, it was a close fight, with more experience, i think Eubank jr would have won clear cut, you can't go into such a fight, without any big fights behind you.

Proska seems a good shout. The guy can bang but is very beatable for a good boxer

Black Sam
How do you reach that conclusion about Etches ?
If the terms are right game on.
Perfect fight for both - and a 50:50 affair.

Proksa would be a potentially hilarious opponent. They'd just be swinging wild corkscrew uppercuts at each other all night.

Re: Who should Eubank Jr fight next?
The conclusion is reached by the fact that he's 17-0 and still hasn't fought anyone in the Boxrec World Top 100. The only fighters he's fought with winning records, had grotesquely padded records themselves. At this rate he'll be 25-0 and nobody outside of Sheffield will be interested. So on that basis I'd say no chance at all his camp would take a fight with Eubank.Parson Cross wrote:Black Sam

Next? A very beatable yet seemingly game opponent. Certainly not a Macklin or a Ryder.
Back in the gym, get a win and a performance, then move along.
Biggest thing Chris jnr could do is leave his current training "reigieme". As it is it will simply never work.

Black Sam,
What was Eubank's record before he fought Saunders ?
You guessed it 17-0 !
Who exactly with a pulse did Eubank fight before Saunders ?
I think you'll find its been for a while now that Eubank wasn't and still isn't interested in an Etches fight.
Why ?

Re: Who should Eubank Jr fight next?
Sergey Khomitsky is a great opponent at this stage, just depends what level Team Eubank want to be operating at,obviously its sensible to move back down but how far back down depends on Sr
Re: Who should Eubank Jr fight next?
Adam is a dangerman; he is very solid, hits hard and has self belief - he as the advantage of not being an arsehole - he really does seem a decent man. More power to him - after he knocks off a high profile boxer he will be a real fan favourite.
Re: Who should Eubank Jr fight next?
I'd love to see him fight someone like, Nick Blackwell, Eamonn O'Kane or Adam Etches just because then he's fighting British contenders who have held or competed for various titles so far and O'Kane and Etches still hold a lesser variant of the IBF (international) and WBC (international-silver) belts.
