How many rounds does he last with GGG? I say about 3 or less..Evander wrote:Lemieux was on fire last night, looks like he's learning to be a proper fighter now.

GGG will be more careful with Lemieux like he was with Stevens. It may take 7-8 rounds.victor-romeo wrote:How many rounds does he last with GGG? I say about 3 or less..Evander wrote:Lemieux was on fire last night, looks like he's learning to be a proper fighter now.
By the way, I think Rosado picked a wrong plan yesterday. He needed to run more like Lara did with Canelo.

I don't think Lemieux will hold up under the punishment as well as Stevens did.

Lemieux has been 21 when losing his fights... (and Alcine/Rubio weren't as done as now) give him time! It's too early for GGG, let him fight Quillin, Rubio II, or Stevens earlier.

Thanks for your fabulous tipdrew kim wrote:I can't believe this line.....
David Lemieux -215
Gabe Rosado +175
Lemieux has been great against competition that is either C-D level, or that folds when they get hit once....against actual decent fighters he hasn't shown much at all. Rosado has a ton of heart and he's B level fighter I would say.
Not only do I like Rosado in this fight, I can't imagine him losing. Lemieux has not shown he can beat someone like Rosado at all

You were sort of right.diddy wrote:Better boxer? No. Tougher? Yes. Better chin? Yes. Better stamina? Yes.
But the cuts, man. The cuts. Major major factor. Lemiuex hits VERY hard and that face is paper mâché.
You were wrong about the stamina (Lemieux was just fine) and wrong about agreeing with someone who said he couldn't imagine Rosado losing but your assessment of each fighter was impressively spot on as was your prediction of how Lemieux could win.
Well done!
Re: David Lemieux favored over Gabe Rosado?
I think many people overlook that he was only 21 in those bouts. I also think he fought well below par in the Alcine fight and should've taken more time to regroup from the Rubio loss.PsychoGamerTwo wrote:Lemieux has been 21 when losing his fights...
