It's ok, nothing special.

I'd recommend "No middle ground" over it, it's much better and the writing is vastly superior.

The Hate Game is a mini classic. Dirs is a top writer and the book is excellent.

I took The Hate game on hols read it in 4 days, really good read if you are from the Benn, Eubank era, I recommend it

I couldn't put it down. Finished in 2 days. I had to watch the fights / press conferences on you tube. Only thing I would say, is that I lived through that era, I was 18 at the time so everything is more important
