Kostya would always have a punchers chance in this fight, that favors Wilfred.

Wasn't Benitez the naturally bigger man? In his prime he would have outboxed Kostya who would do well to land cleanly a handful of times, Wilfredo hit plenty hard as well.

Benitez was 5 10 so taller and bigger and filled out into a light middle so I would think you would have to give every advantage to Benitez and I couldnt see a way he could win, great fighter that he was but Benitez too big, equally as fast and hit hard too.

Benitez went on to fight at light middleweight, but that was with same day weigh ins, so it's difficult to say who was bigger.

True dat, Tszyu packed on a fair few after the weigh-in iirc, wasn't he the first fighter Hatton fought who weighed similar on the night...?

^ Puts it into perspective, don't it?

I've said this before, but when my old man--watching Paul Williams, I think, or Kelly Pavlik--asked where all the "strong, come-forward 5'8" middleweights are?" I laughed nastily & said: "Fighting at light-welter, mate."

I still haven't watched Young TC's latest victory mate, get around to it sometime this week...
