I think Mundine take the points victory here. Combined age of 80, nice!
Re: Mundine vs k9 is close to happening
hopkins kovalev comb age was 80 too
Re: Mundine vs k9 is close to happening
I'm taking Bundrage. I know a man who fought him and said he was even stronger than he looks, which is saying something.

Honestly, Mundine's level of opposition recently has been a murderers row run in comparison to the high level of shite that he spent so many years fighting on PPV.

Mundine to win by dec UNBELIEVABLE after CLOTTEY result hope it happens.
Re: Mundine vs k9 is close to happening
imo this is a tough one to predict.
I think Mundine SHOULD win a comfortable decision but he has some embarrassing losses on his ledger so a Bundrage win would not be surprising at all.
A win for Mundine would be the first time he won the highest belt of a major sanctioning body in the ring.
He won WBA secondary belts twice at super middle, both times the guy holding the WBA "super" champ belt had already beaten Mundine(Ottke and Kessler). When they unified and were upgraded to "super" champ status Mundine hopped on the consolation belt. The second time Mundine became the only person holding a WBA belt at 168 when Calzaghe moved up.

Point taken but in case of Ottke , Mundine gave him a big fright while still a NOVICE [ only 9 pro's and 2 amateur fight's ] would surely have beaten Ottke with a bit more experience under his belt.Perseus wrote:imo this is a tough one to predict.

You can pick almost any fight in history and say the result would have been different if this or if that had been different.
The title shot came when it did and "The Man" finished the fight in a horizontal position.

Re: Mundine vs k9 is close to happening
Why?
Why not Bundrage/Clottey (Who clearly beat Mundine)?
Why not Bundrage/Any of the good young fighters at 154?
Instead of getting a good fight, we get to see two guys who aren't top 10 at 154 fight for a "title".

Re: Mundine vs k9 is close to happening
Agreed. Clottey was on the verge of getting a shot at Alvarez, so this would make up for it a little bit. Bundrage-Mundine is just another addition to the long list of crap fights sanctioned by the IBF at 154.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:Why?

Re: Mundine vs k9 is close to happening
Listen sounds like you don't know much about this sport do you WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT IN MUNDINE/OTTKE CASE ONE BLOKE HAD OVER 300 HUNDRED AMATUER FIGHT'S THE OTHER BLOKE HAS 2 AMATUER FIGHT'S OTTKE HAD MORE WORLD TITTLE FIGHT'S THAN MUNDINE HAD FIGHT'S PRO/AMATUER COMBINED, SO TO THE BOOK OF KNOWLEDGE GET YOUR FACT'S STRAIGHT.THE MAN STUCK IT UP OTTKE THAT FAR OTTKE WAS NEVER GOING TO GIVE A NOVICE ANOTHER CHANCE WHEN HE GAINED VALUABLE OR SHOULD I SAY INVALUABLE EXPERIANCE AND I DON'T BLAME HIM.Perseus wrote:Whatever.ClivePatrickLyons wrote:Point taken but in case of Ottke , Mundine gave him a big fright while still a NOVICE [ only 9 pro's and 2 amateur fight's ] would surely have beaten Ottke with a bit more experience under his belt.Perseus wrote:imo this is a tough one to predict.

^^^^lol.
I see you're still butthurt about Anthony getting KTFO by a feather-fist opponent.
You can name off anything you want and none of it will ever change the fact that the opportunity came when it did and Mundine lost the fight fair and square.
IF he had more experience............blah, blah, blah....IF, IF, IF...........those of us who live in reality not this magical place known as IF land where everything always works the way you want it to see it for what it was......................it was an opportunity, Anthony took the opportunity, it didn't work out, he moved on while you are still whining about it over a decade later.
