There is colouring the truth, but that works both ways. Yes, I was being pedantic about Vasquez - but what was truly criminal was Wilfredo Vasquez's defence Genario Rios on the Undercard of Holyfield vs Moorer 2. There is no way Vasquez should have been WBA champion after that fight - one of the worst decisions I have ever seen, that gets truly forgotten about.

Vasquez should not have been WBA champion by the time he fought Hamed, and he wasn't.

But then it was Hamed himself who said, I think it was after Augie Sanchez, "I want to fight the fella who everyone thought won the fight (MAB vs Morales 1), I want Barrera".

Shame FW didn't say that about Rios vs Vasquez which was daylight robbery of the highest order.
