Cotto Scared of Canelo & Gennady Lol...

Post by bnovelist »

Have ya'll noticed over the past year we havn't seen Cotto excited or talk with high hopes of fighting Canelo or even a GGG. Much like Floyd

who has his back against the wall Cotto as well is feeling the pressure. My personal opinion is make no mistake about it Canelo Alvarez is the

best body puncher in the sport I feel who comes with relentless pressure and vicious uppercuts on the inside. Canelo will fight Cotto back

HARD :OhYes: :OhYes:

He got a gift against Lara it doesn't matter, the fact is that Alvarez on fight night will come for Miguel Cotto in brutal fashion uppercuts,

left hooks the liver, mexican head rolls, etc... Canelo is a young bull!!! Cotto really isn't all that excited about Canelo...lets be real about

this. Against Martinez he was very optimistic

Canelo and GGG. RARELY A WORD :OhYes: :OhYes:

Not so sure about all that, but last night I made a mean bacon stir fry. Fried up a pound of bacon and used the glorious bacon fat to fry the veggies in. Throw in the crumbled up bacon, some cooked ramen, and soy sauce, and fry it all together for a couple minutes... and you have some heaven goin on in yo kitchen.

... which proves with 100% certainty that Cotto is hesitant to fight Canelo.

Triple G and Canelo together haven't accomplished a 3rd of what Cotto has accomplished in the sport.
Cotto is one of the only fighters out there that has brushed aside most of the politics and actually stepped into the ring with pretty much everyone of note during his more active years.

Bnov is punk-drunked again.
You would think the people who love to scream "ducker" out at everyone would love Miguel.
Just proof that no matter how much you give, and how many killers you fight, and how old you get before you calculate, if you ever make a calculated choice of opponent, ungrateful dimwits will jump up and call you a coward.

Hopefully Cotto retires soon before he fades too much. He isn't the best in the division, or even the division below him, but you are right on saying he has so far taken on all comers, and brushed aside the politics. It will be hard for Canelo, even at his young age to give up anything through negotiations with Cotto, but hopefully he will. To me, if they fight, it is 50-50. Why would Cotto be afraid of a guy that was totally schooled by Floyd?

As far as Cotto vs GGG? I don't see that fight happening. Personally I see GGG as a level above both Cotto and Canelo.
