But as Teddy Atlas said in his fight plan he is like an octopus his style is not fan friendly. He is 40 won a world title but c,mon turned down Murray,Macklin,Mundine and Lee to fight a brain bleed guy who had 2 fights in 2 1/2 years against guys ranked 180 and 500. I would imagine similar to say Nicky Cook and Darren Baker, he went into the world title fight knowing he wasn't anywhere near 100% but hoped for the best. Decent boxing paydays don't exactly grow on trees and the financial lure to carry on regardless was strong.

As we saw Soliman carried on as best he could after the injury. But not many fighters manage to win after they have been reduced to one leg.

As for not knowing the game. Who Pureist said Zerafa was fighting in Russia.

http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=185310
A interview from Aus boxing with zerafa himself
The Craigieburn-based Zerafa has signed to fight unbeaten Hungarian Lajos Mark Nagy (18-0, 10 KOs) in Russia on October 24th for the WBO Youth middleweight title.

Having recently lobbied for bigger fights domestically that failed to come to fruition – most notably challenges for the national strap at both middleweight and light middleweight – the fast handed Zerafa has decided to pursue an opportunity abroad, where if successful, will almost certainly lead to bigger fights.

For Zerafa, 22, the opportunity could not have come at a better time, having made the successful transition to a new gym and with his confidence at an all-time time. Zerafa (15-0, 7 KOs) said he embraces the biggest challenge of his professional career and looks to make the most of the opportunity.

“The fight came about when the Russian promoter contacted Peter Maniatis (Australian promoter) when he was in Shanghai for the WBA world title fight and he set it up with my trainer Joe Nader,” said Zerafa in an exclusive interview with Aus-Boxing. “There was talk of an eliminator against unbeaten Russian Arif Magomedov, but we eventually got the deal done.”

“This year has been a quiet one, but a very smart and productive year as I had to move gyms and adjust to the new style down at Powerplay with Joe Nader.” he explained. “My opponent is very crafty and heavy handed but I believe in myself and team.”

“We planned to stay low and grow working with each other until we were confident we could step up with the new style, and take on bigger and better opponents.”

In Nagy, 23, Zerafa is facing a fighter who may be unbeaten, but has only beaten modest opposition in the paid ranks with Nagy beating only five fighters with winning records.

With that said, Zerafa paid respect to his opponent, citing his knockout ratio as an indicator to what he believes will be the hardest fight of his professional career. If Zerafa is successful in dethroning Nagy, it will be the second undefeated fighter that he has beaten in twelve months
Obviously no game set match, Sams in a much worse position now after losing his last fight due to injury, there was no upside for him so for you to suggest it was on purpose is ridiculous and shows how much you really don't know about boxing, you should stick to what you know, teaching kids how to spell

I'm talking about the other joint u coward.

how ironic that for weeks u were the only one who refused to vote over there cause u thought the trolls wouldn't think u were cool anymore. u made it clear early that it was NOT fixed, but when u were BUSTED for not voting against your troll mates u created this smokescreen from pure embarrassment. u really did make yourself look like a goose, PMSL.

yet now here u decide to have your fake vote to continue the charade. your CONSTANT assurance of the fix just makes u look like a try hard fool.

So from the vast knowledge and experience you have gathered from years on a boxing forum (equates to zero knowledge or experience) you in your great WISDOM    have decided it was fixed so Sam could bet against himself, is that it or am I missing something, does your boss the principal think your stupid aswell or do you just run the spelling competitions, it's a terribly weak reason with not an ounce of proof from a person with no experience, no wonder no one takes you seriously

if he finds his testicles in the ring, then green has an exellent chance of winning.

the one time he went for the win, he had tarver really hurt, but didn't finish the job, he let tarver recover and paid the price.

Ha ha ha struck a nerve did I? unlike you I don't claim to be a hotshot trainer and denigrate people like Linc Hudson who doesn't bignote himself online. And unlike you I actually watch big fights Brook-Porter,Alvarez-Lara,Kovalev-Caparello(but pureist watched Mundine-Rabchenko 3 times probably on you-tube) and don't start threads commenting on fights I didn't see.
Good luck training your champions :OhYes: :DD

Didn't strike a nerve at all DC, just asked a couple of questions and like a politician you didn't answer one, you put forward an idiotic idea about throwing a fight with no proof and then basically say anyone who doesn't agree with you knows nothing about boxing, I was merely pointing out the floors in your argument, all you are is a spectator, nothing more, you have not fought, never been in a ring, but funnily according to you, you know more about the industry than the professionals, DC, your delusional

Struck a nerve all right you try to be what you wish you were in real life on the internet and think your better than everyone else here because you train teenagers. You don't watch fights live and wouldn't even know who Robbie Peden is unlike you I don't need the admiration of strangers on the internet or the need for them to agree with my opinion. I can understand Sam telling Wheatley it happened in the 5th after his lawyer said it happened in the 4th honest mistake but then changing it to the 6th in the Aus-boxing interview very suspicious(not to mention before Golovkin-Geale saying he was knocking back lucrative, easier fights Macklin,Murray,Lee,Mundine) to fight Golovkin-Geale winner. Then fights a fighter with brain bleeds, inactivity and who had been fighting fighters ranked 100+(how he was ranked 15 by IBF I will never know Al Haymon's influence I suspect). Just because you probably fought a few drunks at the local R.S.L doesn't mean you know more than Larry Merchant. :DD

Again DC you haven't answered the questions I asked, I don't need the admiration of others on a forum, I know what I've achieved, you on the other hand just seem like a person who wanted to achieve but didn't have the intestinal fortitude to follow though, so instead you try to talk up your "knowledge" to try and raise your self confidence, you seem quite insecure to me, somewhat like a bully, you put on a brave face but when someone calls your bluff, you go to water and that's why you became a teacher because you like the power, the fact that your students " have" to do what you say, I think your a sad specimen for trying to tarnish a sportsman that has given his life to the sport you say you love, you need to man up and drop the conspiracy theory because your wrong

No boxercise, only boxing, but boxercise is where I'd suggest you start your illustrious career, you wouldn't want to peak too early now would you DC. What a classic, you say laughing at me, you must be cut to the bone posting about me at a forum I don't post at, I definately struck a nerve, PS you still haven't answered any questions I put to you, but really, how do you answer something you know nothing about hey spectator
