what happened to luis garcia

Why hasn't garcia fought ? Is he still in Ireland been 3 yrs next week since he fought..

Apparently very lazy and didn't like to train but had real talent, he was said to be very avoided and big promoters had no intrest in him, shame cause he is a brilliant fighter, you see average fighters like paul smith getting back to back world title shots while fighters like Garcia r sitting on the shelf rotting away

Ah, the annual "what happened to Luis Garcia" thread.

I've started them myself in previous years.

Basically he hooked up with someone who didn't have a clue about boxing, whom then sold his 'contract' to someone else who didn't really know much about boxing - then apparently the guy was paying him sort of salary and let him live in a house - and then just stopped. Meanwhile Luis grew plump and I think he had a child with a local girl.

That's about as much as I know, but basically he's completely finished.
