Fantastic performance by William Warburton. I think Barry Jones summed it up perfectly when he said if Warburton "fancies it" he is a handful, coming off a run of no wins in 8 fights he definitely fancied this one; much more impressive than his upset win over Georgie Kean because Lewis Rees was undefeated in ten. A great 6 rounder.

Absolutely,he's also got a draw with Johnny Coyle who won Prizefighter although Coyle got the nod in the rematch so you just never know with him

It's no thriller, but in fairness to Cameron, he's doing exactly what he needs to do to win. Got him 6-1 up. Disappointed by Webb, seen him look a helluva lot better than this.

Well as a spectacle that was awful but Cameron fought the smart fight and showed he wanted it more,clever boxing from Liam but thats about as bad as ive seen Webb,he looked bored at times and just plodded forward winging in shots without much thought,no drama really in the fight

Love to see him win some sort of title, probably too late for him to be looking at British/Commonwealth titles, but Area and English titles aren't beyond him.

It was a classic Willy fight. He fancied it from round two onwards and once he'd got his teeth into Rees he never let it go. W was fight fit because he fights every few weeks and Rees just wasn't fit or just not up for it. Rees was expecting an easy night. He should have known better.

Warburton is a cracking toplevel-journeyman (if you will!) type fighter, with a pretty interesting career. In which he has really improved since i first saw him, fair play.

Farrag wins in the 7th,ref stepped in after a big right hand sagged Lane against the ropes,impressive showing from Farrag and if he had a bit more pop in his punches he would have got the job done earlier,Lane was as brave as they come and played his part but Ryan too good for him


Hopefully thats this bills finished,its not been great if im honest although that fight was good TBF

I seen Warburton live once against Willie Limond at a show and although it was a 6 round undercard fight which im sure Limond whitewashed Warburton i remember my mates who were there with me who know eff all about boxing but came to the show coz it was the first pro card in Dundee for years and their all still hung up on Tyson

Anyway as i said Limond wasnt headlining,Ronnie Clark was and my mates were giving it all "ah Limond,thats the guy who had Khan down for 27 minutes bla bla bla" but they were all dissapointed in Limond coz he didnt KO Warburton rather than giving Warburton any credit,Limond won every round but Warburton made him work for it
