Bradley - Chaves

Post by diddy »

Well on our way to another stoppage in a Chaves fight. Whether DQ or butts or whatever. This ends shortly. Odds on the under 9.5 are a PEACH +360.

Bradley wants to fight Canelo? You're kidding me. On his way to a clear UD here but come on, Tim. You would get killed.

Just cost me $3700 (in payouts). Had Bradley by DEC on 6 outstanding parlays that all just went up in smoke on the final leg.

Feel sorry for Timmy for getting robbed.
Moving on, i wish to see him gets a fight against Khan or Algieri.

I havent seen the bout, but if its as big a rip off as most are saying i am hoping it wont hold him back too much. he deserves a crack at PBF ahead of Khan. I'd love to see Erislandy or Tim get a crack at PBF before amir. Whoever of those two doesnt get floyd should fight Amir. But that means several fighters putting there reputations on the line. Tim doesnt seem to have a problem doing that - Provodnikov, Pacquiao, Marquez, Chaves...I think he has had the best oppositon of those lining up to face Floyd.

I don't think Bradley was robbed at all. The US commentators were clueless, Tim this, Tim that! Most of those rounds were really close, nobody dominated. Doesn't surprise me in the slightest that it was a draw.

I would like to see Bradley v Kahn. Promotional issues would probably stop it from ever happening though

Which rounds do you think could've gone to Chaves? The fight was competitive but I thought that Bradley clearly did more in most of the rounds.

Most of the rounds were scrappy and could've been scored either way. I thought Bradley edged it but I'm not going to go mad about a draw, there wasn't much in any of the rounds.

There doesn't have to be much between them for one guy to clearly do more. Which rounds do you think could've fairly been scored for Chaves?

Without re-watching it I couldn't name them accurately by number as I didn't score the fight round by round.

I gave him 5,6 and 11 drew the 2nd. A lot of close rounds but Bradley had more clearer stuff for me.

Cost me big money this draw. I weren't even going to listen to the judges verdict I thought it was a clear 3-4rnds win for Bradley atleast. Shocking verdict

Chaves was game but he got clearly outworked. Kinda awkward for Bob Arum to be calling for Julie Lederman to be banned from judging when Harold is such a big part of HBO

and Bradley saying "it wasnt horrible".....yep he's getting paid 2 million either way

What REALLY pisses me off is I couldve just bet "fight goes distance" in these parlays at -290 instead of Bradley by DEC at -230. I thought "meh, no way this guy actually wins a decision against him in America".....and bam, look what happens. F'n disgusting. I just sat numb as Buffer said "114" as the final score b/c I knew the pause he gave before reading it meant it was a draw. A draw is a loss on a decision bet, and the most painful loss you can experience because draw odds are +4000 odds.

I can always tell when Buffer reads... "to the scorecards..." if something is up.

I thought Bradley won this fight very cleanly, sure there were at least 2 rounds that could be argued that were favorable to Chaves but IMHO he clearly lost that fight.

Switched over to the last rounds after the Khan-Alexander thing and didn't see anything wrong with a Draw based upon that. HBO is a gaggle of complete wankers, and ShoBox ain't much better... Haymon boosting NBCSports is fine with me.
