Pacquiao-Algieri was one of those fights that a lot of people used their X2s and X3s on. The same happened to me earlier in the season - I was one of only two people that correctly picked MAYWEATHER, DECISION, CLOSE for the first Maidana fight but because I'd only X2'd it, I lost ground to all the people who'd picked WIDE and DOMINANT but X3'd. Savvy bonus usage is a big part of the game it seems.

Top 3 have the option to PM me their picks for the last fight rather than post in thread to prevent anyone from 'playing it safe'.

What does everyone think about another season? #11

Turnout seems to be pretty low this season.... not sure why. Lower forum population? Downyear for the sport? PTBF losing its touch? Etc.

Any thoughts on potential improvements, etc?

I definitely hope for a 11th season. Improvement? More women fights, there were a lot top-rated 5-star female fights this year, why not include them? I know I asked this before, but you could still make them 0.5x... Or all the fights which are 3 stars and above, making a multiplier in conjunction with the golden and/or black stars?!? Work somthing out, man... Your da PTBF boss! :D :TU:

It's very automated, but it's still work. Therefore, 50 fights per season seems reasonable. I don't really know that we need more.

I'm always willing to add more variety to the game, but also do not want it to become over-complicated or watered down.

Could the hard to pick fights be the ones that are bonused? It seems a bit redundant to have mayweather fights for example, as the huge bonused fights when everyone who has played before uses their 3x. I think that if a big fight is a 50/50 then it should be bonused. It's risky to use your 3x but the rewards are good because half will get it wrong. Or people can still pick the easy fights to use their bonuses on and play it safer. Seems a bit pointless everyone doing mayweather, decision, wide/ dominant, x3. Pacquiao, decision, wide, 3x etc.

There was a good split in the Hopkins fight before the fight, I know it was one sided but not everyone agreed. Just an example.

Anyway I'd love another season, just an idea, I'll be back in regardless of any changes!

The pick difficulty does influence the bonus.. but I get what you're saying.. is that it should influence it much more than any other factor.

Congrats to the The-Artist. Well played.

Not sure why I got zero though... hmmm... pretty sure I picked the last fight partially correct? Not that it makes much difference. Just Curious George me.

Thanks for running the PTBF!
