South Korea is a mess on this site. There are 3 (or 4?) competing governing bodies and it seems the editor only views one as legitimate. Quite a few missing results as a consequence including one Su Yun Hong fight and one Ye Joon Kim fight (who has had his next bout announced).

Seems like this particular bout was recognised by the KPBF (http://www.boxingkpbf.com/home/bbs/boar ... 1&wr_id=23) though there are also the KBF and KBC that I know of, think someone mentioned the KBA as well.

Shame Korean boxing can't get it's head out of it's ass and work together to actually redevelop the sport in the country. Plenty of untapped talent there but I understand why fighters don't want to get involved in the sport given the politics (Ja Ik Goo and Min Wook Kim could both have been FANTASTIC fighters)...

It shouldn't matter which Korean organization sanctioned this bout. The fact that it was an IFBA world title bout should take precedence and the bout should be included in Ms. Park's and Ms. Torres' records. It's mind-boggling that it isn't.

I'm with you, I asked something similar recently and was told it was down to the editor in charge of Korea. There were other fights on the same card that aren't included as well.
