Ryder v Heiland

Post by jessi »

Bought my tickets today for the January 31st o2 bill, direct from Charlie Edwards ( who makes his pro debut ) and heard that John Ryder could be fighting Jorge Heiland ( who stopped Macklin last time out ) next !
Good test IMO / dangerous fight
Thoughts ?

Dangerous fight, hope it comes off,i dont know if Team Ryder think Heiland's KO over Macklin was due to Matthew being shot but either way its a big risk, alway a chance of a Buglioni/Khomitsky scenario

Better to lose stepping up than to contine to waste away fighting journeymen.

Hearn has done a poor job with Ryder since his good performance against Saunders 15 months ago.

Yep i agree its good to see they types of fights, hopefully it does materialise,Hughie-Rudenko's another great fight ,Ryder does need to get a move on,especially if Eddie's wanting to get him into an eliminator, his win over Jez Wilson was a British eliminator wasnt it?

I had Saunders beating John but it was close and it would have been better to get him back on the horse(no pun intended) quickly,he picked up some WBO International trinket when he stopped Tetteh in his last fight so maybe thats the route they'll go

It was supposed to be announced a few weeks ago, but nothing so wouldn't expect that to happen.
