I think that's actually what boxing needs. Unfortunately, Khan will DUCK Thurman, probably not get the Floyd fight, then take against a light hitting 140/147 pound fighter.

All come on Horse, you're a boxing fan and should know the answer to that question! Every fighter has some type of advantage over another in some way (usually) but Thurman should target him and take him down so that he is the next in line for a shot at one of the champions.

This is boxing and that is what they are supposed to do. Sure there are good opponents that present a lesser risk and possibly a higher reward for either of them but it is clear that these two fighters will become the keyholders to the championship in the future as long as they both keep winning.

JMM, Bradley, Manny and Floyd will be gone soon and all that'll be left is Brook, Porter, Thurman, Maidana and Khan. Hopefully we'll get to see all of these guys mix it up with one another. Don't feel sorry for Khan because he has no beard, this is boxing.

This is stupidity.

The only reason Thurman is targeting Khan is because people are pushing Khan/Floyd and Thurman wants the Floyd fight. If people were a bit more sensible, then Thurman would be targeting whoever they're trying to put in front of Mayweather.

Bradley vs Khan is a better eliminator for Mayweather.

Thurman should be aiming for Maidana or Porter.

Thurman/Maidana seems like a stupidly obvious fight to make at this point. It will be a shame if we don't get it.

Sadly Tim Bradley has seemingly exhausted the stable of welterweights that TR has at its disposal. I'd love to see something like Bradley/Guerrero but I think the Arum/Heymon divide will prevent this from happening.

What significant tactical changes did he make? You guys are using Devon as a measuring stick to gauge these so called "changes" he made but I won't say that for certain or with surety until I see him do those things against the likes of Garcia or Peterson in a rematch and then we'll really be able to tell if he did improve.

For now, he has faced a fighter who did nothing, absolutely nothing different the entire bout; Alexander is a very basic boxer, he made no NO adjustments and to use how he fought as a barometer to try and prove that because you have been fooled into believing Amir has improved and that so called improvement will put him over the top/give him an advantage vs Mayweather (who routinely adjusts) is just foolery IMHO.

If it makes you feel good to say that he's improved based on that performance then by all means, go ahead but I won't.

Let him rematch Garcia and do that then I'll get onboard.

Thank you Captain Obvious. None of us knew that making big money without getting brain damage was the goal.

Khan screwed himself for being scared to fight Alexander last year, plain and simple. Now he is begging, pleading, over, and over, and over ,and over, and over, and over, and over, and over.....that he deserves a Floyd fight, and if not a Manny Pacquiao fight. Why didn't he fight the guy that just beat Alexander to get some more credibility? Not that smart? Too risky? His ego is much bigger than his accomplishments at welterweight, and most see it clearly. He stands in line with a bunch of guys from 140 to 154 that want the sweepstakes. Maybe he should just move up to 154.

Let's say there's a champion and the #1 and #2 contender. The number #2 contender says that he wants to beat the #1 contender to prove he is the real challenge for the champion. The #2 contender is a coward and idiot for that?

The funny thing is that in this scenario, everyone is pushing Khan but he isn't even top 10 at 140/147.
