You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of underdone potato. There's more of gravy than of grave about you, whatever you are!

Thanks HT, that bum will do anything to weasel out of a Gans rematch.

I guess it's signed as stated and agreed, GBP?

Tomasino, I have always been and shall always be true to my word.

And my word in this case....is this fight is very likely to happen.

You will find me simple, quaint, and straightforward in all matters of negotiation.

Let's do it Buzz.

Commish, please sign this up and take the matter out of the hands of this repugnant blaggard.

Marquez has signed, a while back, for a fight. As stated by Buzz if Marquez isn't available then up steps Joe Gans, ready to drop not only Sweet Pea, but his hat as well.

But your mean spirited, and have impuned the reputation of a good organization. Not sure that sort should be rewarded with a beating from Sweet Pea.

Oh crud, I forgot the rules. Benny Leonard very well may deserve the rematch but it looks as though Camacho will have to lose his belt to Armstrong

Unless he would like to throw down a belt and face Sweet Pea......and....Whitaker would be glad to do that as well if Camacho agrees. Only one belt can be held by these two fellas, as they are being strong armed by unreasonable officials.

Now, the only reason for this offer is to spare my good friend Tomasino the pain of sending his fighter in to certain defeat.

I'm looking out for Gans, because Tomasino doesn't know quite what he's doing.

But if no one else is willing, we will not face a cpu....we will simply mop up the floor with Gans, though we owe Gans everything in terms of inspiration, style etc.

It's ugly task to be forced to impose defeat on your hero.

Sign it up ? Perhaps....

But Only after a well crafted apology in the wake of your further libelous action taken in the "Buzz is a Turkey" thread.

After all it was Benjamin Franklin's initial inclination that the U.S.A.'s "animal mascot" be this very noble and nutritious bird, before cooler minds prevailed and secured the Eagle as the Iconic animal to represent the new nation.

You should not be slighting either GBP or Turkeys in such a reckless and insensitive manner.

Facts are facts and the sooner you face them, the sooner Joe Gans gets his rightful, deserved and previously agreed BRUTAL BEAT DOWN.

Once this fight, previously agreed, is set in stone by the commish, I shall give you what it is you desire, in a separate, shiny, thread.

FIXED!

AND....please consider a return match clause, should you find enough coin in you couch to pay off the judges for another one of the "draws" you managed to purchase last time round.

Okay, a few rulings need to be made:

1. Hector Camacho cannot defend his World Title against Benny Leonard, his ranking is too low.
Alternatively, Battling Nelson made an open challenge which was accepted by Benny Leonard -
DaveyMac wrote:
Tomasino wrote:Would anyone like a go with Battling Punchbag Nelson?
Benny Leonard will fight him.
So this fight will be signed, unless otherwise stated.

2. Contrary to what was wrote, Roberto Duran did indeed meet his mando quota last week. It has been recognised and put back to it's next rotation.
As such, his fight with Laguna has been sanctioned.

3. The IBO Title is now declared vacant. And it will be fought for this week in a fight sanctioned by The Office of the Commish - (it will be decided by ranking)
