Khan would win easy in my opinion if he stuck to a plan.
Floyd is a master but age has caught him and he has feather fists

No chance, he may out speed Floyd for a few rounds. But floyd would figure him out

I give Khan more credit for boxing skill than a lot of other people. Many think his size and speed are what makes him a top fighter. But, I think he has nice technical ability. However, Floyd's technical prowess is unmatched at the moment. His timing is elite. D Garcia was getting plastered by Khan until he figured out Khan's timing. Floyd would do the same. Not sure he would stop Khan, but I believe Floyd would have his timing down by the 3rd or 4th round and proceed to box Khan's ears off for the duration of the bout.

I would be rooting for Amir, though.

If or when Mayweather finally gets beat,it will be due to him being outworked, although i had him beating Maidana easily both times, clearly some people thought Marcos's constant pressure was winning him rounds

Take Khans speed coupled with his high workrate then he can give Floyd fits,Amir's kryptonite is his punch resistance and his willingness to trade when hurt,he seems to have the latter under control or at least its improved so far

Styles make fights and theres a lot of fighters who can beat Khan but funnily enough i feel that he outworks Floyd, whether he'd get the nod from the judges is another matter

IMO Khan has a better chance of beating Mayweather than Pacquiao but i'd probably fancy Manny to KO Khan

Because Mayweather HASN'T been beat and Khan HAS,people find it inconcievable that Amir has a good chance

Khan certainly has good Boxing skills. The question is could Khan keep it up for the full 12 rounds against someone like Mayweather.
I'd venture too say Khan has the Boxing skills to compete with Mayweather. Winning against Mayweather is another story.

Although I'd say Khan's chances are improved from say whatever it was the last time they were talking about this fight. Mayweather is older.

Yoy will never know ,, Mayweather will not fight anyone with speed , In fact Floyd will duck Khan even more than he ducked Manny . 5 years ago Manny --fLOYD WAS A 50-50 fight ,, now i would say 70-30 Floyds favour and he's still putting obstacles in the way .

Floyd getting older , Khan growing into the weight with a good trainer , plus his speed all = Floyd refusing to fight him on the basis he don't deserve it.

Why in the f*ck do they continually place this overhyped clown in the same sentence with Floyd just because he beat a limited Alexander? Hell no that bum Khan can't outbox Floyd, hell he couldn't even outbox Danny Garcia or Lamont Peterson for that matter, neither of which are nowhere near the level of Mayweather.

Khan looked good recently but lets not get crazy. Alexander is only an average fighter, who has been outboxed previously on multiple occasions. Maywhether is infinitely better quality and has infinitely more wrinkles to his game. All these talk of Khan beating Maywhether is astonishing. Especially from people like Paulie who should know better.

I am not saying Khan's got Mayweather's number but he's got a live chance,2 of Floyd's last 3 fights have been MD's,they should've been UD's but he is losing rounds and in the first Maidana fight there were some people who thought Marcos won so the net is tightning albeit controversially

The first time i seen Mayweather fight was Baldomir and ive never had him losing,i thought he beat Maidana first time and De La Hoya,i mention those 2 fights as they were close so its not as if im not a fan of his style or even dislike him as a person(although he is a knob)

I just think if people think Marcos Maidana beat him then its not out of the question that Khan can,Amir and Maidana are polar opposites style wise but like Marcos,Amir has a high workrate, something that Floyd doesnt have and as ive stated in another post i think if Mayweather finally gets beat,it will be due to being outworked rather than outboxed

The only people on here getting carried away are the ones who are twisting what people are saying, nobodys really writing off Floyd,im not anyway,im just stating i feel Khan has a better chance than most

Khan was schooling Garcia before he got caught hard. In fact, it was embarrassing how easy Khan was hitting him. Pretty sure he was cut in the 2nd round. As for Peterson, he was down twice in the first (one judged a slip). What didn't take Khan to victories in those fight was poor tactics.

Mayweather is close to the end, has lost lot in the last 1 months, and I could see Khan winning that fight.

Schooling? Khan clearly won the 1st and the 2nd. However, in the 2nd you could see Garcia starting to find his range a little bit. It was not the slaughter Khan fans try to make i seems like.

Because he is better than the opposition Mayweather beat i.e. Ortiz, Maidana and Guerrero etc.

But since the majority of Boxing fans are retards, i guess we'll stick to Mayweather facing Plodders/Brawlers

My thought is if speed is 99.9% of an indication of boxing skill, then yes. If not, the answer is no. Maybe you should start another thread about how Floyd does against boxers?

I think Khans ability to box is over rated. To me,if and when he fights Mayweather this will be obvious.I truly believe they are in different leagues. His speed will not fluster Floyd in the least. The only thing is he is big strong and younger and Floyd has lost a bit,As has Manny for sure.Floyd by UD.

Khan would have to KO him, and that won't happen. Money talks, Floyds sells..Khan don't

Only in Amir's dreams.

Its possible Amir's speed will give Floyd some trouble not unlike Zab's speed did for a lil while, but 36mins is a long time even for a 38 year old Floyd not to adapt & time Amir. I feel like there is a good chance Floyd will KO Amir late.

I think the cards in Mayweather's last four bouts were generous to his opponents, two of whom arguably don't sell as well as Khan.

No, but Khan could win the fight, although I believe that FMJ would stop him.

Seems to me people aren't taking into account how Floyd will react once he's down on the scorecards.

Floyd is used to be a frontrunner.
How will he react when Amir pulls away the early rds and stays safely on the outside ?

Khan's boxing brain has improved, while PBF's physical attributes have dwindled.

Just because Garcia was able to bomb Khan doesn't mean Floyd will.
And just because PeDersen was able to bully him marching forward doesn't imply Floyd will be able either.
Floyd isn't a bomber.
Neither is he a pressure fighter.

This is a 50-50 fight.

I'll be honest i never seen either Castillo fight, although most people had Jose Luis winning, there were some who thought Floyd won

Judah won the early rounds against FMJ, who then changed tactics, raised his guard and walked Judah down. FMJ is far more adaptable than he usually needs to be. Against Khan, the question is whether he has enough left physically to march him down.

And Floyd clearly lost the first Castillo fight. Close fight, but a clear one.

Somehow, i can't picture myself Floyd walking ANYONE down ( apart from Judah, who is a 4 rds fighter).
