Could be one of several, maybe Khytrov.
Or from the poll: Golovkin, Kudryashov or Stevenson.

Ievgen Khytrov will be on ShoBox this coming Friday night facing Maurice Louishome (8-0-1).Chepppaaa wrote:who is kythov?
Here's his pro record: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer
He was the world amateur middleweight champion in 2011 but was robbed in the London Olympics against Ogogo in 2012.
He's 7-0, 7 KOs in the pros so far, winning most of his fights by one-punch KOs.

Hard to classify Wilder just yet. The guy obviously has power, but his opponents have been so poor that he's been able to wind-up and swing with everything that he has. He won't be able to do that against top-opposition.
Klitscho should be on the list, the guy has proven one-punch power that he uses in a calculated way against much better opponents.

Re: Which Boxer has Boxing's #1 one-punch KO power?
Stevenson is very limited boxer, but his left hand is really something special, Kovalev dont have that type of power.
Re: Which Boxer has Boxing's #1 one-punch KO power?
It's between GGG and Kovalev
Re: Which Boxer has Boxing's #1 one-punch KO power?
It's Golovkin, he gets one punch KO's with either hand, up or down and he does it while countering or leading.

exactly what i think. people always speak and hype kovas power as if he is the biggest puncher in the world. i do believe that kova has special power, but adonis is slightly stronger. his 1 punch power is top of the top.

yeah. he just stands normal and kos somebody with 1 punch. imagine how hard his punches would be if he put all his weight into, full swing...
Re: Which Boxer has Boxing's #1 one-punch KO power?
I'd say Stiverne and then Kovalev, I have yet to see 3G really one punch KO a boxer. Yes he put fighters down but I've seen him land repeatedly and then stop most of the people he's faced.
Wilder and Kovalev actually put fighters to sleep with one punch.

So Einstein are you saying Stiverne or Wilder?KBB wrote:I'd say Stiverne and then Kovalev, I have yet to see 3G really one punch KO a boxer. Yes he put fighters down but I've seen him land repeatedly and then stop most of the people he's faced.

From what I understand, he is still active, just waiting on a good fight. I think he actually pulled out of a fight this month, not sure why though....Chepppaaa wrote:armageto wrote:I still think Randall Bailey has to be listed....

GGG's wins over Macklin and Ishida were effectively one punch stoppages.KBB wrote:I'd say Stiverne and then Kovalev, I have yet to see 3G really one punch KO a boxer. Yes he put fighters down but I've seen him land repeatedly and then stop most of the people he's faced.

There are very few fighters who consistently score one punch knockouts against solid opponents. Even the fighters whom I would consider among boxing's best punchers (e.g. Stevenson, Wlad, GGG, Kovalev) tend to stop opponents with accumulations of blows rather than suddenly with one punch.

Geale was basically a half punch that finished him.crusader wrote:GGG's wins over Macklin and Ishida were effectively one punch stoppages.KBB wrote:I'd say Stiverne and then Kovalev, I have yet to see 3G really one punch KO a boxer. Wilder hands down........don't know if he can fight but he can punch!!
Re: Which Boxer has Boxing's #1 one-punch KO power?
Wilder clearly has power but I'd like to see him consistently show it to a similar extent at a higher-level before I label him the sport's best puncher.

The Geale KO was a punch landed after he had been hit and leaning back off balance. You rarely see someone KO someone with a punch as they are leaning back and off balance. He also KO'd Rubio with one punch. Anyone who doesn't think the G-Train has one punch KO power is either blind or just plain biased.forcefraser wrote:Geale was basically a half punch that finished him.crusader wrote:GGG's wins over Macklin and Ishida were effectively one punch stoppages.KBB wrote:I'd say Stiverne and then Kovalev, I have yet to see 3G really one punch KO a boxer. In absolute terms, I suspect that it might be Wlad. He doesn't load-up very often, but I think he has plenty of ability to one-punch KO most fighters if he chooses to.
