First 2 questions for Andre Ward
1.When are you boxing next ?
2.What weights will you consider boxing at long term/short term ?

He sucks. Only decent rappers of today are Jedi Mind Tricks. In my opinion. They have the 90's sound. 90's rap is amazing. Today's rap pretty much SUCKS. Like you damn euros know a thing about good rappers.
Jay-Z and Eminem owned the 00's but are fading into the night. They've made enough millions, I guess.
Give me 90's rap and 80's rock and I'm all good.

Broner is a moron, turning down 40 million proves that beyond dispute. Once he gets his ass handed to him again, which he will soon enough, he will be lucky to make 100k per fight, never mind 4 milhulkmaniac wrote:Boxing Champ Adrien Broner

exactly what i thought. dude says 8 million a fight and boxing 2 times a year for 5 years is unreasonable.
i said to myself. dude got totaly crushed by maidana. on top adrien is training semi efficient, being super fat and talking shit all the time, when he doesn understand that those are his prime years and he should be focuse and train like hell. with this kindof lifestyle he will never be what he thinks he already is. he realy thinks he is floyd, a ppv star. he thinks that in the future he will step into the ring and beat guys like pacquiao, bradley, provodnikov, garcia and make 1,5 million ppv buys and make 20 mill a fight. he realy deeply thinks that, otherwise i cant understand why turning down 40 mill for 5 years. i think broner should be lucky somebody wants to invest 8 mill a fight for him, because in my mind he is workd only around 2-5, simply because he is no top level boxer that deserves that kind of money.

This seems like it could be one of the most bad decisions rehashed & lol'd about by hardcore fans from now til 10 years from now when we have even more hindsight with Adrien's abilities & potential or lack thereof.hulkmaniac wrote:Boxing Champ Adrien Broner

RocNation: "Here's $40M for 5 years"
Adrien: "Suck my dick"
In Adrien's defense he did sound like he'd still be interested in talking with Jay, but Jay in particular not the random RocNation guys who apparently approached him with this offer.
It sounded like it had a weird requirement or suggested schedule of 2 fights a year, 10 fights total that averaged $4M per fight basically. Idk why you'd wanna keep a guy Adrien's age at just 2 fights a year so it seems like it might have actually been a poorly constructed deal if thats the case.
There is probably an element of Al Haymon in this whole thing too. So far RocNation has made widely publicized deals to Adrien, Deontay & Keith who are all Al's guys. They have also made a winning purse bid on a Al fighter title defense that led to Al's fighter dropping his belt. There is definitely some weird Al vs Jay Z sh!t going on here if not outright high level trolling going on by Jay.

Re: Andre Ward just signed with ROC NATION
I can't wait for Ward to comeback,he does have a habit of making fighters who are normally exciting look plain but boxings better when he's fighting regardless of his fanbase or executive's in suits who have no clue about the sport
I'd rather see someone of his quality jump right back into the fire rather than have a walkover for his first fight back

While I agree on 90's rap, RA is one of the best. He killed it in Uncommon Valor, the track that gave him any sort of recognition, but he has so much more. His last album war track to track better than anything I've heard for years. Even his goof around song "Definition of a rap flow" is better than most of these chodes serious stuff.diddy wrote: He sucks. Only decent rappers of today are Jedi Mind Tricks. In my opinion. A world class biter teams with a world class headbutter.
Jay stole a lot of lyrics, now he's going to fleece Andre Ward.
