I'm guessing Frank wants the Lee/BJS fight to take place in London and Lee wanted his first defence in Ireland and this is something of a compromise, and we will no doubt see BJS fight the winner in the summer after getting another 12 rounder in the mean time (which wouldn't hurt).

I think Lee wins, mid to late stoppage

I've not spoken to Jerry Booth for donkey's yonks :TU:

I hedged my bets for 'Scene for the second Irish-themed article running.
Good to see you getting back to your true roots Mr. Dooley! :TU:

Irish or news? I’d tried to quit both. They pulled me back in!

:TU: I quietly called it quits on the writing side of things last May then was drawn back. Turns out I was just freshening up. I was at his first pro fight in Ireland, I didn’t think he’d get this far TBH. You must have been drinking vindicationade throughout Dec!
I was indeed, passed out a few cups of Haterade and upgraded my young fellas Chrimbo present to a iPad Air 2 off the winnings as well.

I'd a cracking Nov and Dec gambling wise actually. Kovalev, Coyle, Spike, Walsh, Gavin, Fury, BJS, Carroll, Khan and then Lee. It's been a decent run.

Or they want to do the fight outdoors, so they're waiting and Lee's having a comfortable defence in Dublin for a good payday before that fight happens.

If this fight goes ahead I'll be disappointed. If Patrick Nielsen wins BJS would of missed a big opportunity to gain more Irish fans combined with a big payday. It just doesn't make sense to me!!

I'm surprised he is as well,he just can't hack it when he steps up.I can see him fading then just trying to hold to avoid AL power like he did against chudinov.

Well if it is okay to have a guy who lost fairly recently, why not have Macklin.

Makes more sense to be fair. 30,000+ capacity for the fight and Ireland / England is the best way of getting a full house at it. No point having a worse fight and trying to sell the tickets for a venue triple the size.

Why would BJS be looking to gain more Irish fans?

Neilson is better than some of you are making out.
Tall rangey fighter, i think he could easily beat Lee

Yeah, I agree hence why my Macklin comment. This seems like a bit of a risky fight for relatively little reward.

In saying that, world class fighters should be beating Neilson - as they should be beating Macklin now.

Macklin would be an easier fight i think as well but he just got ko'd in his own backyard, Neilson lost in Russia to a Russian.

Lee vs BJS should be the fight we all know that

Not a chance... the Dane is barely above club-fighter level!
