Welliver VS $BW Mega Thread

Post by Kronkpride »

The time of the Sydney Massacre will soon be upon us. Chauncy Welliver vs Sonny Bill Williams 1-31-15. SBW is coming into Olympic Park thinking that Welliver will pass the world class boxer torch off to him. But he has another thing coming. The timing of the bout could not be any worse for Williams. Normally he'd have an argument for being the toughest Williams standing on Aussie soil when he has his feet planted there. But the Australian Open is running January 19th to February 1st so he will drop to the third toughest Williams on Aussie soil in my book. Well behind Serena and a bit behind Venus. He might even be considered behind Richard Williams as he is a feisty old bird himself. I rank him 3rd though.

My prediction for the fight is Chauncy Welliver KO5 Sonny Bill Williams. In a highly entertaining, epic, and unforgettable fashion. Non stop action from Welliver coming forward like a raging bull. Constant running and getting caught by Susie Bill. And then the fat guy shows who is really in better boxing shape and SBW slows to a crawl. Welliver pimp slaps the shizit out of him until he drops like a bad habit. SBW tries to rise again but the corniest looking set of chicken legs you ever saw buckle and bring him back down. And the crowd goes wild!

I love it. I voted for Serena even though i just seen Venus training in person today… and she is looking fierce here at Melbourne park!!! Are there any welterweights or light middleweights on this card. I wouldn't mind sticking around australia for a possible fight. My gf plays here in Melbourn Jan. 19 so i will be here until after she is done. Btw, tennis player Andy Murray is a huge boxing fan. Had a long conversation with him today in the locker room and he knows his boxing. He knew guys like Andre Dirrell and has seen Amir Khan and David Haye and a ton of other fights live. Great to see Boxing crossing over into the tennis world as well..

I forgot we had an insider in the tennis world who would also be at the Aussie Open to support his gf. Good luck to her on the 19th and may her run be as glorious as the run Chauncy Welliver does in extra wild fashion over SBW. That bit about Andy Murray is not surprising. You can't be a decent Scot without having a love for boxing. And as a premier celebrity in the UK the top boxing matches are the place to be. Murray can probably get ringside seats to any show he cares to go to. Though he may want to sit a ways away from the ring during any Froch fights...his gal is like a cross between Monica Seles and Chris Byrd's wife....not too pleasant to have to listen to over a long championship fight. The freakish drama queen activities wear off real quickly.

It would be great if you could get a slot on the card and the USA could put an even bigger stamp on Australia this January. As when it comes to tennis and boxing, the USA is going to throttle everybody they face. One of the Williams sisters will win the title again for the ladies and Chauncy will beat down the other Williams sister and set the rugby world on fire. SBW will never live down the beating of a lifetime he is about to get. Kick His Arsse Chauncy! :box:

Fight Week Is Here! I can't help but notice that Sonny Bill has no fans and nobody willing to back his stock going into the grand ole arse kicking he is about to receive from Welliver. The jig is up Sonny Bill....prepare to be beaten worse than you've ever imagined a beating being. Welliver is going to physically and mentally crush you like a bug. :box:

Chauncy came in a disgusting 304 pounds against Browne with ample time to prepare and an even more disgusting 308 against Ustinov. Any chance he will turn up anything like fit?

I reckon Chauncy will crack the 300 pound barrier again to ensure the bout with Dunny Bill will be a complete contrast in physical attributes.

There are seven fights on this card, and five are lopsided. If the telecast becomes a shambles (and the main-event has the potential fiasco written all over it and others on the undercard look like miss-matches), it will give the sport another black-eye like the infamous "Rocky Arvo" from the past.

Yes it was. It was an afternoon of miss-matches, quick knockouts and Rocky's day of shame.

Rocky pulled a heart muscle very quickly within 2 rounds once Paul Ferrari started to hit him around the body and retired on his stool. Legend has it that Rocky and Paul wanted to have a stink back in the dressing rooms over the use of the hot water in the sparse facilities as Rocky claimed that Paul had used the last of the hot water. Rocky didn't need a shower as he failed to raise a sweat in his pitiful performance.

The whole card was a stinker. The Gattelari brothers were just out for a quick collect and Barry Michael stopped Rocky's brother Lucky very easily too. Tony Mundine and Wally Carr both had early KO wins on the same card and the punters got virtually nothing for their money.

Unfortunately I think Chauncy has been neglecting his training again. It's a damned shame, but I think this is going to be a replay of the Ustinov fight.

Chauncy has been quoted as saying how he has lacked commitment lately but this is the fight that means so much to him. If he comes in a slob again and loses I think his career is effectively over.

SBW is absolutely 100 rungs or more below Ustinov on the ladder. Welliver went into that fight with no notice at all and with a busted eye still not healed from the vicious head butt Browne hammered him with. He couldn't train much or spar at all between Browne and Ustinov. For this fight he has a bit more time and has had ability to train some....and some is all he needs to whip SBW arse as SBW literally is a straight up pug with no fighting ability at all. There is 0 chance Welliver loses this fight.

Kronk mate, I really hope you are right. Nothing would make me more pleased to see Chauncy take down Sonny Bill and show him boxing isn't athletics. But is Chauncy in a training camp? Is he doing the road work every morning and evening?

First show on free to air TV in years. And look at the crap card that's been put together.
It will be another 20 years before it's put on again.

The results are in and correct weight has been called!

Chauncy has tipped the scales at 136.6 kgs, which is a tad over 301 pounds. Dunny is spotting Chauncy 30kgs in weight.

When SBW was being interviewed about this epic tomorrow night, in the background Chauncy was seen devouring a big bag of chips. Chauncy will enter the ring carrying even more tonnage by bell time.

Sorry, Kronkembarrassment, but your bum chum has weighed in at "extra fat" again and will lose on e of two ways, SBW by Khoder Nasser, or SBW by heart attack.
