Re: Orlin Norris vs Dee Collier(1989)
This wasnt a particularly exciting or even interesting fight, but as far as I know its the only Dee Collier fight
thats been seen on youtube anyway.
This was also Dee Collier's last professional fight(13-9-0).
BTW This clip seems to have been edited down,
no doubt on this show ESPN would have shown some highlights of Dee Collier's
previous televised fights.
I had heard somewhere that his fight in 1985 with Tex Cobb was televised either on USA Network or ESPN,
also his fight with Alex Garcia in 1988 and possibly Collier's bout with Monte Masters.

Re: Orlin Norris vs Dee Collier(1989)
Dee Collier made a comeback(of sorts) in 1997 to portray the part of"Pinklon Thomas" in the 1997 HBO made for tv movie DON KING:ONLY IN AMERICA.
(you can see him for all about three seconds at about 1:44 of this clip).

Re: Orlin Norris vs Dee Collier(1989)
I"m about 90% sure I saw that fight back in 89' but don't remember much about it. I watched ESPN evening fights regularly in those days. I had heard about Orlin Norris prior to that and wanted to see him in action.
Re: Orlin Norris vs Dee Collier(1989)
I watched the fight when it was broadcast in 1989 and I recorded it. I have the whole broadcast so will watch and report if any other footage was shown of Collier.
Re: Orlin Norris vs Dee Collier(1989)

Arnt you the same individual who has also claimed that they have the entire video-tape broadcast of
Muhammad Ali vs Henry Cooper I(1963)
compleat with the ring walks and introductions
and the entire three minutes between round four and five?
No doubt Klompton has the video tape of Dee Collier vs Randall"Tex" Cobb.
But he aint goin to share it with anyone else
(cuz he dont have to).
