In February against the French European Union champ for the Vacant title.
Inactivity has been a problem for Lee so hopefully he can win this and get regular defences in. He's been due to fight for International and Inter-continental titles a few times over the last year and they have always been cancelled or rescheduled with lower quality opposition for no title. Time is running out for him so hopefully he gets a bit of luck.

Very winnable fight for Haskins, he should have too much all round for Lamiri, who is a decent boxer but leaves his chin in the air when throwing combination. It could get a bit ugly if the styles don't blend, but i can see Lee winning this one inside 10 rounds.

imo haskins should have had a world title shot by now.

Strange how AMAZING his fight with Jamoye was. If you've never seen it before you need to treat yourselves.1 nut wrote:His style is just so boring for tv

Unfortunately for Lee when beating McDonnell, Hall and Ward they were seen as good domestic boxers, rather than being world title contenders.REEVE wrote:imo haskins should have had a world title shot by now.
He's also lost at vital times, He had real momentum when he took on Jamoye, but lost that one, if he had won a world title shot might of happened after. Instead its back to rebuilding again.

Re: Lee Haskins European title shot in Monte Carlo
Lee just needs to get hold of this title and keep defending it every 3-4 months until he can force a final eliminator or a WT fight. I think Lee and the Sanigars were unlucky with not being able to get the home advantage in the Jamoye fight despite winning the purse bid, while it was a KO loss I think the home advantage could have swung things a lot because he did have Jamoye all over the shop a few times.
