:TU: Khan will be carefully matched so he is able to reach that goal. His next opponent? Probably Guerrero or Paulie. Maybe a lighter punching 140lber like Peterson. What would be most entertaining is him vs Broner. Even though I would favor Khan in that fight, Broner has some pop in his punches, and might make it interesting at times. Two guys going at it with huge egos, that both think they are elite fighters.

There is not an arena around that could fit both egos

Even thinking about a match between Broner and Khan makes me laugh. Two guys with a combined IQ less than their shoe size....or at least their age.

The pre-fight bs would be classic.

Khan's goal is exactly the same as any other elite fighter in the 140/147/154 divisions; to get a call from Floyd Mayweather Jr for a fight!

Unless broner has really improved i think khan would horribly expose his defects in footwork, defence, and ring iq. Not that khan is the sharpest tool in the ring iq box, but his movement and activity are perfect to make him look clever in broner's context.

His goal should be to shut up calling out Mayweather.

The thing is, how about trying to make a name for yourself at the weight before calling the top guys out? Brook, Thurman, Porter.

Lets see...............who is the lightest hitter at welter that has a recognizable name? That is who Khan will fight next.

Just out of interest does anyone think he should move up to LM maybe?
He's not getting to Mayweather or Pacman anytime soon. He's never really fancied Brook even though he's the one holding a world title and that leaves Bradley I suppose and not much else.

I know LM is thin in terms of talent but if he wants a name then Saul is there?

Probably be someone like Bradley. He doesn't hit too hard and Khan can outbox him....maybe.

I think khan would pose the same problems for Bradley, that Bradley posed for Marquez

Hopefully he does not fight a no-hoper while waiting for a hopeful year-end Floyd fight.

I'd like to see Khan/Porter but Porter is probably too off-the-radar for Khan to risk it. Maybe Khan/Bradley? Khan/Maidana II?

If i was khan the two fights I'd want is Tim Bradley a p4p top 5 boxer that khan could well beat and off the back of that Floyd . the guys to miss are Manny and thuram .in many ways the welters are easier for khan than the 140 fighters no massive punchers like matthysse or strong guys like provo .

It doesn't take a massive puncher to knock Khan silly, just a smart one. Garcia isn't a massive puncher. Prescott isn't a massive puncher. Julio Diaz was not a massive puncher. Time it right, hit him right, and he will be on his ass or do the chicken dance.
