WSB 2015 - any ticket info?

I was thinking about signing up to BT Sport to watch the WSB but I've just gone on the AIBA website and it looks like they'll be showing all the Season V fixtures live and for free! http://www.aibaboxingtv.com/

I would love to promoting something like this, especially off the back of the Commonwealth Games and big events such as Froch vs Groves.

- A press conference covered by a youtube outlet e.g. IFL
- A twitter page dedicated to the team with all relevant information and someone manning the responses
- Publicising twitter and facebook accounts of the fighters involved to build profile
- Highlights reels of previous events and fights of the people involved
- Make it out to be what it is, a cheap way of seeing some of the best amateur fighters in the world, where you could get future multi million pound world title professional bouts taking place in York Hall for a tenner
- Merchandise and a family friendly atmosphere etc

It would only need someone doing it part time, I am a student and would have more than enough time to do it!

Good points this could be made really popular but nothing is getting behind it. Also helps amatuers transition into the pros better and cut out journeyman fights ie Lomachenko and Uysk started fighting guys with winning records.

Local lad from round here has just been selected for the british Lionhearts called Ekow Essuman, hes supposedly good but ive never actually seen him box.
Although im led to believe his first bout with them is away, might have been vs Ukraine

Was a good watch, thought Ashfaq was slightly lucky to get the win. Sam Maxwell cruised to victory impressed with his performance. Thought Fowler was looking really good till the cut which definitely looked a bad one.

Next home match is 5th or 6th (the announcer said 5th but tv said 6th) on Bt Sport but think you can watch all the shows online so might try and catch the aways too (Ukraine next Friday and Morroco the week after).

Love your enthusiasm, shame there isn't a fan base that have the same. Having been to a number of WSB events I can say that despite trying their very hardest, AIBA just can't get the fans to engage and its a bit like most international amateur boxing comps where it goes deadly silent when the bells rings. Even changing franchises from cities to countries hasn't helped.

What they need are stars and grudge matches, aiba don't want grudge matches as its bad for the Olympic image and as for stars well as you may have noticed from 2012 most gb boxers have the personality sucked out of them via their "media training". A shame because someone like Anthony fowler deserves to be watched by a big audience, given his performances, but he'll go pro after medallist at rio and won't need the wsb.

Can watch it free online, stream isn't great, but it's a chance to watch some top amateurs for nothing.
