BoxRec Forum Boxing Hall of Fame- January ballots
I was there, Archie took it seriously and I think the wrestler was sort of amazed that the old man could find him and hit him so easily. I think he thought he could "athlete" his way to looking competitive. It was like a grown man beating a child for 3 rounds. Nice to see Archie retire on a high note. He was anything but washed up but he had nothing more to prove.

Finally.....the time has come....for my official ballot!!!!!!
I tried to incorporate a ratio into my picks that roughly reflects the all-time talent level (in my eyes) of the 8 staple divisions. So, for example, there won't be 15 middleweights on my list, but there won't be only 1 or 2 either. There will, however, only be 1 or 2 flyweights and bantamweights on my list, considering the comparative shallowness of those divisions with the others over the course of boxing history.
Anyhow, here are my picks.
Muhammad Ali
Alexis Arguello
Henry Armstrong
Wilfred Benitez
Jack Britton
Panama Al Brown
Ezzard Charles
Jack Dempsey (The Nonpareil)
Joe Gans
Kid Gavilan
Marvin Hagler
Eder Jofre
Benny Leonard
Joe Louis
Rocky Marciano
Carlos Monzon
Archie Moore
Willie Pep
Sugar Ray Robinson
Jack Root
Salvador Sanchez
Michael Spinks
John L. Sullivan
Mickey Walker
Jimmy Wilde
