They always boo in the US unless someone is knocked out in a couple of rounds. The US fans are a joke to be honest, they like a brawl but they don't understand boxing.
Re: Wilder Stivern RBR
Can someone please mention how they think Wlad would do against these two?

Re: Wilder Stivern RBR
wilder boxes his way through 10th, 1-2 move, 1-1-2 move.
stiverne just trying to walk in through the front door
with one good charge with about a minute left but wilder
turned him. 2 good shots from stiverne off ropes in closing
seconds but that is another wilder round. stiverne needs a ko
to win. wilder has this locked if he finishes on his feet.
stiverne's corner needs to tell him to jump on him

I guess ur right since the refs let Wlad pull the shit he does, but back in day that constant holding would have got him dq'd.Sklar wrote:No it's not. These two are tough good value sluggers but they don't have boxing brains.hurricanemitch14 wrote:cultus wrote:No clinches. NONE
This is how boxing is supposed to be, this hugging/holding poo should not be allowed.

I remember Wlad fighting little wild back when he was in his 20's too by the way.

wlad would clinch and slap and do what he normally does, butTaansend wrote:Can someone please mention how they think Wlad would do against these two?
it would be an easy win for him, and if he got some uppercuts in
he would stop wilder

Wlad isn't going to change his style just to appease a few fans

I'm pretty sure Stiverne would have gotten KO'd by Sanders and Brewster. No way Wlad would have lost to Demetrice King though.IKSRTFO wrote:Stiverne doesn't have the skills of Wlad but you know what....Wlad doesn't have the chin of Stiverne

Thanks for the RBR guys, glued to my iPad at 5:40am in the UK :)
Re: Wilder Stivern RBR
Clinching was more a part of the game in years gone by than now. It's only to pander to the US television audiences that it is sometimes penalised like it is. It's a good technique.

116-112 Wilder wins.
Re: Wilder Stivern RBR
Great fight, have Wilder winning by 3 or 4 easily.

Clinching, hugging and holding is a suck- ass way to box.

Re: Wilder Stivern RBR
8-4 Wilder
More impressed by that than I would be with a quick blowout.

Re: Wilder Stivern RBR
clinching is a good technique to a point but Wlad/John Ruiz throw 1 punch hold 1 punch hold 1 punch hold and then push the opponent down....they get up and they do the shit all over again.

I guess Wilder can fight after all......don't think he's gonna beat Wlad but I'd like to see him land his right hand on Wlad tho. 219lbs is too small he needs to bulk a little.
