If it turns out as stated here i'd happily pay for it

Froch on his own in Vegas is PPV so to add the Sheffield bill as part of it is a bonus.

Now Ward has signed to RocNation expect him to be a lot busier but as stated above, Froch will want no part of it

Froch v Smith is a ridiculous suggestion for a swan song

Can't see him finishing up on anything other than either winner of DeGale v Groves or Kessler 3

Not been paying much attention to boxing news this week, the snooker has been my focus.

Is Froch vs Chavez officially signed?

Froch whole heartily admitted he doesn't want to fight Ward again because he can't even land a punch. He also said that Ward never really hurt him either so felt more pride in losing to Kessler when he was battered and bruised. Fair point really and honest about Ward being the better man.

Not much point in fighting Ward again.

Commendable though it is for a losing fighter to want a rematch to put the result right, I don't think Froch is capable of beating him. He wasn't hard done by in the first fight, and there was nothing that would suggest he'd win if they fought again. Also, it'd be hard to make with Ward's promotional problems, and not particularly interesting for the fans. Ward's great, but he's not particularly fun to watch.

Froch is coming to the end of his career, and has probably one, maybe two fights left. Chasing Ward seems a thoroughly pointless exercise at this time of his career.

I presume no PPV now Froch is out ? Unless Hearn goes alone with the Sheffield show with Brook and a 'stacked' undercard of his fighters against Latvian bin men ?

Clev Bellew had the whole rematch and massively rival thing (as over the top as it was!). Fair enough Brook will be defending his belt but unless its against real top class opposition, i can't see it being PPV.

They'll probably promote it as 'the man who defied death' or something.
