Wilder vs. Wach. Who wins?

Post by Baby Face Finster »

If these two were to fight each other this year who do you think would win?

I believe Wach would give Wilder fits with his size and reach. Wach is one of the very few fighters in the last few years who has truly stunned and hurt Wladimir. Wach also possesses one hell of a chin and I believe has never been down as a pro. Who you got?

I also pick Wach. I still think that Wilder with his pencil-legs and "defense" of throwing up his arms is a knockout waiting to happen.

Wach by knockout.
Wilder still seems to be so touchy.

Wach? Seriously? His best attribute is his chin, and the rest of his skills are not even near as good as Stiverne's. He is tall, slow, and strong.

You guys seriously make me laugh. Opinions are never wrong though.

Wilder demolishes him. Credit to Wach for standing in with Wladimir, but Wilder would be more aggressive and probably hits harder. Kelvin Price all over again.

Pencil-legs  Yeah this guy is too thin, height 2m weight 100kg and his legs looks really funny, like a anorexic.

Wach has chin, but what else? He is huge, but he does not know how to use it. Wilder should have no problems to get a wide decision.

Wilder would be all over Wach, way too quick for him. I don't think Wilder is the best heavyweight around, but Wach is a very limited fighter. Wilder does leave himself open sometimes, but is Wach quick enough to expose that??? I don't think so.

If Wilder goes up against a HW with quick handspeed, then I think his time is up. Would love to see Haye Vs Wilder if David ever gets his gloves back on and his cornrows applied.

Wilder's reflexes aren't quick, he just has hand speed. His stamina is poor, so is Wach's so atleast he's not alone there. Wach has an all-time chin that took Wlad's properly thrown power shots for 12 rounds. If Wilder were to try and "be all over Wach" he'd soon find himself on the canvas as he'd punch himself out doing so. Wilder's only shot would be to jab and move to a decision. I doubt Wach would have near the trouble in finding how to land as Stiverne did, however.

Wach has great chin and good power in his right hand, but he is painfully slow. He just started working with James Ali Bashir whom I consider a very good trainer, but when Bashir shows Wach how to throw combinations and then Wach throws them, you can see that Bashir's punches are faster than Wach's ones. And Bashir is 64 y.o. man! Wach is really slow, so I would definitely favor much faster Wilder to outbox him, but Mariusz will have his chances too.
