should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
Should Australia allow Floyd to enter Australia with his record of domestic abuse.
Tough question this one.
Are we the worlds police, If someone does their time, are they forgiven?

I'd reckon there's been people let in to our great country way more undeserving of the privilege than MR MAYWEATHER.

I find it slightly ironic that Australians are considering refusing a convict entry to the country..

Mayweather committed assault against another human being. He was punished for this, he has done his time. It would be interesting how the Australian government would act if Mayweather was a gay man, who beat his BOYFRIEND?... A bit of hypothetical soup for the soul there.

Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
how would being gay make any difference, assault is assault, a ridiculous comment
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
What I am saying is that there are many more men in Australia every week, that get assaulted. Whether it be at home or on the street. Yet the Australian government puts a huge emphasis on a minority group because it is run on a feminist agenda. Do you seriously think that if it had have been a male that Mayweather assaulted, that the Australian media and government would be jumping up and down not to have him here? Of course they wouldn't!Pureist wrote:how would being gay make any difference, assault is assault, a ridiculous comment
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
May weather is high profile, an assault by a boxer of his stature will stand out regardless of gender
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
Fair call. I'll be filthy if they don't let him in!Pureist wrote:May weather is high profile, an assault by a boxer of his stature will stand out regardless of gender
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
You can't seriously be comparing a man on man assault to a man on woman assault. Women are physically weaker and Mayweather being a trained fighter makes it even worse.Lairdy wrote:What I am saying is that there are many more men in Australia every week, that get assaulted. I am serious, assault is assault, if a woman assaulted you and bashed you senseless which I'm sure most could you wouldn't consider that assault
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
it would be fun to watch too, lol.

Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
They are all the SAME crime! People assault other people for different reasons. But we live in a very sexist, feminist driven country, that indirectly tells people that the only time assault is a huge problem, is when it's a man on a woman! When indeed more men assault men, then men assault women. Yet, the feminist regime we live in seems to neglect that FACT!DA GOOSE wrote:You can't seriously be comparing a man on man assault to a man on woman assault. Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
I was talking to Lairdy a man on woman assault is worse than am man on man assault. Unless of course she uses a weapon or is trained. Mayweather a trained fighter(2nd best pound for pound fighter of the last decade)assaulted his untrained ex-girlfriend in front of their child. That is worse than a drug dealer IMO and we wouldn't let a convicted drug dealer in.Pureist wrote:I am serious, assault is assault, if a woman assaulted you and bashed you senseless which I'm sure most could you wouldn't consider that assault
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
Morally worse, yes. But, as I have tried to explain. It is no different on criminal records.DA GOOSE wrote:I was talking to Lairdy a man on woman assault is worse than am man on man assault. Plus, were you there? Do you know what went on behind them closed doors? Or do you just naively believe anything the media tells you? Considering how harsh the American justice system is, compared to the sentence he received. Would you consider that maybe there wasn't enough evidence to support her story?...
One more question. What if it was a weedy male that was assaulted? Would that not be as "bad", because he just happen to be born with a penis between his legs...
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
yeah I don't wanna let too much outta the bag here and ruin my street cred :) but i am 60 and was a weedy little kid and was always bullied at school. Can't see any glory in a big guy hitting a little guy who just doesn"t wanna or can't fight. worse if the victim is a woman of course but they are both obsceneLairdy wrote:Morally worse, yes. Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
A "woman" and a "weedy week" guy getting beat on full into the same class for me. As someone that beats women and someone that beats small weedy guys. They are both bullies!
Re: should Floyd Mayweather be allowed in to Australia?
Pretty much what you are saying grant. Is that if a woman and a "small weedy" (both pretty much the same physical attributes) get assaulted, you feel that it is worse for the woman, because she was born with a vagina?... Correct?
