Fight beneath your level often enough and your skills will diminish.

He needs fights and fast. As much as i hate to say it he needs a test before he goes back in with the likes of Rigo, CF, SQ or Abner Mares.

The quality of his opponents hasn't been particularly high though. Rendal Monroe was borderline feather fisted and he put terraz away as well. I'll watch a few more of his fights but Santa Cruz seemed to overwhelm his opponent last night. I can't see those shots dropping frampton.

Think Frampton beats Santa Cruz quite easily. And for that reason the fight will never happen. No way Haymon lets Frampton get anywhere near him. He got 750k to fight that guy, why would he fight someone like Frampton for an extra 100k and lose the title?

Seen his last few fights on BN & he has got progressively worse each time. I am beginning to think he is not as good as I originally thought.

I doubt that someone with no power would stop/drop people so consistently, and while his opposition obviously hasn't been stellar it hasn't been terrible either. You mention Terrazas, but he went the distance in beating Mijares, Montiel, and Cermenho yet he got demolished within three rounds against LSC rather than worn down over 9 as he was against Munroe. He's not a big puncher but I think his power is respectable.

Yeah Frampton beats Santa Cruz, better in every department I think. Quigg would also have a chance. Galahad is ranked 6th in the WBC, I would like to see Kid replicate his gym mate and win a genuine world title away from home!

After Santa Cruz's performance against Ruiz, i would definitely give Frampton a chance now.

Rather than technically regressing I think LSC--a massive weight-drainer--might be approaching his "window", or rather, the limit of his body's ability to cut so much mass.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see him up around super-feather before he fights a live body. & his opposition has been literally Quigg-level since becoming a Haymon fighter.

Also also: he's heavy-handed & strong as fvck, but I would quibble with him possessing "dangerous power", much like, say, Margarito (pre-wraps) at welter. It's mostly body-strength/sheer physical force with which he gets people out of there imo, rather than any sort of dynamic hitting prowess.

I'd fancy it to be a good fight, close and competitive - Santa Cruz is no slouch... But I'd favour a Frampton victory.
