It was going to be Antonin Decairie. Now there is no Froch fight, might upgrade to Josesito Lopez

looking at the seating plan Matchroom just put out I wouldn't expect it to be a massive name the cheapest tickets £40s and £60s cover most! If it was a big name the cheaper tickets are far less.

In Hearn's Daily Mail article he says they've been looking at Jojo Dan, Diego Chaves and Josesito Lopez as main options but there's half-a-dozen options altogether.

Jo Jo Dan, surprise surprise the moment he retweeted the original announcement for Brooks opponent. It was extremely obvious that it was going to be him.

Easy night for Brook from what i have seen of Dan (admittedly only 1 fight). I hate the fact that all fighters talk bollocks though, Brook said ive taken this fight because dan is mandatory and i was in his postion and never got my shot so im giving him what he deserves and the opportunity i never got. Everybody knows the real reason is because they see this as a comfortable first defence. I know they cant say that because they need to build the fight its just one of those things that grate on me

Decent enough fight for a first defence. In no way do I expect Dan to win, but I didn't expect Brook to be thrown to the lions considering what happened.

Soothmoves - Dan is the mandatory.

Did I suggest that he should? I'm a fan of Brook and I'm glad to see him back.

We shouldn't overlook Dan BUT Eddie name-checked just three fighters as possible opponents for Brook in the summer: Khan, Mayweather, Pacquiao. Let's hope he can deliver.

The man is coming back from serious injury. Getting his mandatory done nice and early is a sensible move

Thought Kell was much more confident with the media and came across a lot better.

I think it will be a tough fight for Kell, but I expect him to win, the IBF stripped Jamie McDonald for not defending within 90 days, Kell has already had more than that rehabilitating , Jo Jo is ranked No1 and is the mandatory challenger, its a wise move to get jo jo dan out of the way as he should, then pave the way for Khan in the summer if he has the Balls!

I think this will be a tough night for Brook ,I expect him to win wide on the cards but I dont think Dan will allow him to look good,I think its a great fight coming back off the stabbing and will stand him in good stead the following fight assuming its a big one
