I see Taylor has gone off the deep end and landed himself in jail. From reports it's highly unlikely he will beat the charges which will leave the belt vacant.
Obviously Sam, if he is fit, is worthy of fighting for the title. Now with the IBF's rich history in Australia would they consider a Geale v Soliman bout for the vacant title? Would love to see it.
On that, does anyone have any info regarding Sams progression from his injury ?
Taylor gone - Any chance Soliman v Geale for vacant title
Re: Taylor gone - Any chance Soliman v Geale for vacant titl
Hassan N'dam is the IBF mandatory, so I imagine that he'll take precedence over each of them.

Guys I know they're Australian but damn would u guys really be interested in a Soliman/Geale fight haha........Geale got blowed out by GGG and Soliman looked horrible against a shot Taylor.

I dont think Geale even rated by ibf last time i checked??!!

N'Dam is the mandatory so maybe Soliman v N'Dam but I dare say it will be another Haymon fighter vs N'Dam. Plenty of different scenarios looking at Haymons fighters.

Caleb Truax is my guess.

I'd still like too see it, there both still top 10. Plus Soliman is pretty much the only good Australian middleweight that Daniel hasn't foughthurricanemitch14 wrote:Guys I know they're Australian but damn would u guys really be interested in a Soliman/Geale fight haha........Geale got blowed out by GGG and Soliman looked horrible against a shot Taylor.

Both Geale and Soliman need to earn a shot again at a title. They should fight each other then the winner can say they deserve a shot.

Yes a fight between the two would draw a big crowd to the Campbelltown Cube or Catholic club, possibly put it o a Thursday night FOX1 cardFrancis75 wrote:Both Geale and Soliman need to earn a shot again at a title. They should fight each other then the winner can say they deserve a shot.
The winner can advance and the loser probably retire

Agree with this. No doubt though that they will try and flog it on Mainevent at a bigger venue using NRL players like Paul Gallen on the undercard so they can attract a crowd.Kelandbeave wrote:Yes a fight between the two would draw a big crowd to the Campbelltown Cube or Catholic club, possibly put it o a Thursday night FOX1 cardFrancis75 wrote:Both Geale and Soliman need to earn a shot again at a title. Yeah that's always disappointing especially as the same blokes always had a go at Mundine for doing the same and inventing that concept.MidniteProwler wrote:Agree with this.
