Rios - Alvarado and undercard RBR

Post by Tarkus »

Non televised portion is streaming free right now on http://www.toprank.tv/index.jsp

Its a great idea from Top Rank to increase viewer numbers beyond a handful people present at the arena.

Yep...good stuff from Gvozdyk. He made Cummings look much worse than he is.

Beterbiev, Shabranskyy, Gvozdyk - there are some really promising prospects in the light heavyweight division.

Ponomarev is doing a young Mayweather impersonation. But I am not sure he has quite a necessary speed or sharpness to go with it.

Pretty good fight between Claggett and Ponomarev.

His defense certainly doesn't appear to be a strong point.

Yeah, no one is calling him a pretty boy, not since round 4 anyway. I am not sure about Talant either, whatever that is.

77-75 x2 and 78-74

Good scores. Ponomarev clearly took it in my opinion but he's got many improvements to make, especially defensively.

Shakhnazaryan staying to long in the pocket against a power puncher. Its not going to end well for him.

97-93 Ramirez. He was in control over the first half but Vlasov picked it up late and had him looking weary in the final moments. It was his toughest fight that I've seen and his face shows it, but I think he took it.
