The amount of training boxers do is irrelevant in this context. Millions of people go for a run before work and go to the gym when they've finished work every day of the week, and maybe do a competitive 10k road race on a Sunday or play rugby on a Saturday or whatever. In most cases the term 'professional boxer' is more misleading to the man on the street than semi-pro is. Ask a Joe Blogger what he thinks an average pro boxer earns and I would bet a lot of money on him being at least 5000% out.

Looking at it from that arguement, a guy working full time in a warehouse on minimum wage will clear a grand take home pay per month.

a boxer can train every day and get a fight per month (if they are lucky, and a journeyman obviously) yet probably walk away with closer to £600.

Those who can only get a couple of fights per year have zero chance of surviving on that.

over in Stratford.think it might be the bt sports building Though I know it's stratford. Lewis Long who has represented Wales in the Thai boxing world games twice and has medaled. He's also 9-3 in pro MMA. He regularly spars with Liam Williams and the boys at team Lockett.
