Oldest living Heavyweight Title Challenger??

Im thinking Pete Rademacher at 86.....??

I reckon you're right. The second oldest would be Roy Harris - if he is still with us.

He fought Floyd Paterson, who was, I believe, 33 -1 at the time, in his very first fight. In his second fight he faced Zora Folley. They put him in with the wolves right away.

Max Schmeling is no longer with us, but he passed away just four months short of his hundredth birthday in 2005.

i know he didnt fight for the title....but as far as i am aware...carmine vingo, who fought marciano is still alive in florida.....but of course i wouldn't know for sure.

I had heard he was still alive and relatively fit. This was a few months back mark you. He must be late 80's early 90's?? Considering the trauma of the Marciano fight it is remarkable. :TU:

George Chuvalo is 78 this year.

Brian London will be 81 in June.

Richard Dunn is 70 this year. Karl Mildenburger is 77 I think Chuck Wepner is 76. So some old stagers there

I read on another site that Roy Harris is alive and well and sharp as a tad..

Good to know Roy is still with us. He will be 82 this year.
Doug Jones will be 78 next month.
