Amazing - 2 evenly matched fights between young fighters

Post by reggaereggae »

So I am pleased to see there are 2 evenly matched fights between decent 'small hall' type fighters today.

In betting, the odds have been going one way and another. I really don't know who I'd pick in either fight.

Ricky Boylan - Tommy Martin
Boylan is an all action fighter, and exciting. He fights like a puncher though, although he's not that hard hitting. He lost to Tyler Goodjohn in a good fight. I have not seen Martin but his last win against Matty Tew looks good. Anyone have more info on him or any betting tips?

Tyler Goodjohn - John Wayne Hibbert
Goodjohn comes off his best win against Boylan on points, though he lost before that to decent Tyrone Nurse. He also battered Internet big mouth 'Cassius' Connor in a rematch. He can box well when he wants but doesn't mind a row. I saw Hibbert once, early in his career at York hall. Can't remember much, except he came in wearing a cowboy hat....

Anyway the main thing is we have two evenly matched fights on a televised bill between ticket sellers who will be up for it. I hope this becomes more routine

(Not enough to make me subscribe again to Sky of course, but more fights like this and I may come back... Oh and also Sky - please stop your guys grinning inanely when facing the camera!)

I'm not convinced. I dont rate Mitchell but can't see anything good enough about Estrada. I've had a small flutter

Kevin Mitchell has been given a big opportunity, something will probably go wrong on the way.

They were entertaining fights. Just a shame the Ryder fight was so dull. Overall, more like this please - interesting fights and letting some of the less well known lads have their moment on the telly.
