Since Crawford is moving up I think Mitchell beats anyone in the division except of perhaps Cubans, Abril and Gamboa. BTW Mitchell vs Crolla is a nice little fight.

Estrada didn't use his reach or jab, looked slow, didn't move his head but it wouldn't of mattered Mitchell looked another level tonight.

Mitchell looked brilliant. I have only seen Estrada against Figueroa and he looked decent enough without being special. I think Mitchell is a class above.

Linares is a good fighter but is very beatable. I think Mitchell would have a great chance against him especially if he performs like he did tonight. Lightweight isn't the deepest division at the moment so it is by far his best chance to become world champ.

I thought so too, but on a replay you can see Mitchell loosing balance after getting hit.

Yeah fair enough  but they made out like he was hurt

Mitchell can become a world champ on that performance, he's always had the skills, looks like he finally has the discipline. Over too matchroom now to get him the shot.

Both, Mitchell was excellent, but Estrada made it very easy for him, long, wide, slow punches and no defence. Mitchell could land with his left whenever he wanted, especially the uppercut, but I can't see him getting away with some of the punches he was throwing against better fighters, chin was wide open at times.

That was impressive from Mitchell, he did what he want with him and totally schooled a world ranked guy. Hope he does well as he's always had loads of natural talent and a nice bit of power, but he really needs to stop kissing blokes. :oo

Final. But might be a little while before a mandatory is enforced.

Was supposed to fight the I
Winner of Lundy v Zlaticanin but Lundy is out of that fight after failing to make weight recently.

Don't be surprised if Mitchell fights Zlaticanin next to become mandatory.

Mitchell looked very good, although the same can be said of him in the Prescott and Murray fights and he was unimpressive in his previous bout. I think he's got a decent chance of beating Linares but I also wouldn't be surprised if tonight's version doesn't turn up and he gets throughly beaten.

I agree that Estrada was poor but I'll give Mitchell the benefit and assume that he made Daniel feel his power early,Estrada wasn't as timid against Omar Figueroa as he was last night and Figueroa is a little buzzsaw but Kevin continuisly hit him with hurtful, precise punches, especially the jolting left uppercuts which could not miss,Mitchell didn't throw many right hands as he didn't need to,although the KD came from a right

Linares-Mitchell is 50/50 for me,Jorge is as good and as vulnerable as Kevin, both have power, that fight will be explosive

Decent show last night. The sort of card Sky need to be putting out a lot more regularly. Agree that Mitchell has these performances in him, just needs to show he can go out there and do it every time.

Brilliant performance by Mitchell, looked great in there probobably his best performance since the Murray fight.

Cant help but feel he will always bottle it on the big stage though

Linares is a quality fighter, probably a little underthought of nowadays.

But if Kevin goes in with a similar ethos to last night he can definitely beat him, Linares skin is so fragile that he's always there for the upset.

Hard to know where to place Kev really, Murray & Estrada fights he's top 10 arguably, Burns & Katsidis and he's scarcely top 50.

Got to stop p~~sing his career away and make the most of the time he has left. He has always had all the tools-good skills, reasonable power, but he just lacked the discipline-so I hope he can really use this to have a last good couple of years.

I just hope Mitchell can stay focussed and keep this sort of form up as he looked very impressive last night
