He looked absolutley class tonight. Him and Kev both had great performances. He picked Tyer Goodjohn apart.

Yeh he looked good tonight, should now step up to the domestic title levels, Goodjohn was a brave lad and I'm glad the fight got stopped when it did as he was taking a nasty beating.

It was a very good performance and he was able to hit his man at will. If anything the fight should probably have been stopped a bit earlier as Goodjohn's eye was a real mess.

I look forward to seeing Hibbert in some bigger fights in the near future.

Hibbert was excellent last night and never really let Goodjohn get a foothold in the fight,I expected it to be more closely contested but John Wayne wouldn't allow Tyler to bridge the gap,Goodjohn was super tough though and would probably still be fighting now had the ref not stopped it

FOTY so far which I know sounds premature giving its the first domestic show of the year but I've already seen about 6 cards from Murica,Hibbert deserves a shot at British or Commonwealth no doubt

I don't think you will have to wait long mate he shifts a load of tickets so no way hearn will not have him on his next London show. Think I read at one point he had done over 600 for yesterday and in the crowd you certainly knew he had brought the bulk of support.

If they get Mitchell a world title shot next I would expect hibbert to have a good fight on the undercard. Those two with the east London/Essex link are a match made in heaven.

Hibbert is a really good boxer, that was the first time I've watched him - I'll definitely look out for him again; Tyler has some real bottle, he took plenty of flush punches, the cut was horrible - what a game fighter he is.

His Dad was also very good-Lloyd Hibbert, around at a time when there where some very good fighters at welter/light middle in the Midlands like Cliff Gilpin-lot of potential there that wasnt reached-lets hope the lad has more luck with his career.

:TU: thanks, Broomhall - I'd not made the connection; I remember reading his name in Boxing News in the mid 80's.

Echo most of the comments here on Hibbert looks solid but Goodjohn is too brave for his own good.

Hibbert is 30 so now or never should fight the winner of Limind v Jenkins

Does Hibbert have a promotional deal with matchroom? If not would like to see him against Jack Catterall.

Bad idea. Brad would beat him up. Brad sells more tickets than him but on the opposite end of the country.
