Just the sort of night it was really. Terrible main event. Fancy serving that tripe up when you are trying to rekindle interest in televised boxing.

As bad as it was it was still entertaining. Ray Hadley should do a little homework before he make silly coments like he thought SBW would have won by ko in the first few rounds. Welliver has never been put down and he just fought Lucas Browne in his previous fight to a tko not getting off the stool for the 8th round. Still an entertaining night of fights.

I watched it on fta. Anything the Footy Show promotes was always going to be cringeworthy. The casuals lapped it up, every one at work watched it. Welliver could have made an effort to lose a bit of weight, but no one can doubt his chin. I thought SBW has improved but a solid test is still to come. All in all a good pick up for The Starlight Foundation.
Quote of the night by Hadley........ There is Tony Mundine.... who fought Carlos Monzon for the Light heavy championship of the world.

There's nothing quite like proving how little you know on national TV

Does anyone know of any interviews published with Tony Mundine?
His career was as good as any Australian's. He must have some great stories to tell.
