Fat Git - have you thought about joining the junior Tory debating society? As I understand, it's full of twats like you with nothing better to do.

I see your unfounded assertion, and raise you Tommy Hearns, who punched about as hard as Bradley Skeete as an amateur. You can have the right physiognomy, and only learn to use it right at a certain point.
Paulie Malignaggi is as technically sound as you can get, but he has no power, Golovkin is just the same, but he knocks people out. In that sense, power can't be improved, some of it is clearly natural, but in other ways, it can.

I actually find your arguments fairly easy to counter. The most difficult part is dealing with the volume since it gets tedious after a while, though I'm sure if I stopped responding for that reason you'd probably take it as a sign of your great debating skills.
You shouldn't think so highly of your own opinion because you seem to be confused of the complete and utter basics of boxing.

FYI: As far as I am concerned, this is a boxing debate on a boxing forum, I don't see debating you as a 'win' or 'lose' situation but then I am not some hyper-competitive anal retentive -
I fear I'll become autistic if I read all of this thread.

How can you say this when he hasn't fought any world class opposition. What a twat you are.

Fat Git--I didn't read the extremely long message you posted at Tue Feb 03, 2015 1:23 pm, but think I've already said most of what I wanted to say and I imagine that most of your arguments in that message could be answered by my previous posts. I thoroughly enjoyed our debate.

Also, I  at these ones:
However, from what you are saying, it seems that I do hold such importance to your life though that you feel need to respond to me. I am honoured.
Yeah, but really, you need to sort out your priorities sonny.
Okay pops!

Again - we are talking about teenage boys in development - Tommy Hearns wasn't a 'puncher' as a teenage lightweight amateur but as he grew older and packed on weight, he became a world class puncher, that is different from someone who is already physically developed turning into a puncher from a non-puncher. :TU:

He also managed to hurt and floor iron chinned Lovemore Ndou twice; something Miguel Cotto, Kermit Cintron, Kell Brook and Saul Alvarez could not do.
Again, there is a difference between learning or adjusting ones style where you become a hurtful puncher (all punches hurt, right?) which is a whole different ballgame from becoming a KO puncher like Earnie Shavers, Nigel Benn, Ruben Olivares.

Henry Maske could hurt and floor people and was a correct, hard hitting fighter but he wasn't a KO puncher. KO punchers are born, not made.

He's got frightening dig, and he's got a chance against anyone. That's an opinion. I don't give a shite about yer poxy stats, which you obviously pour over.

I base opinions on what I've actually seen at the gym, and at ringside. He punches very hard indeed. He's got a chance against anyone. Your saying he hasn't? How do you know?

"it isn't true what your saying" - How the f**k do you know? It's know-all's like you that make this forum tedious.
How do I know, because every time he has stepped up, his power didn't count, he lost when he did.

That is how I know, if he really was 'One Punch Ovil' he would have knocked out a very shot Enzo, which is something every other
world class puncher (and some who aren't) has managed to do these days.

Sorry, do people who know something about the sport is what make this forum tedious? Pardon me whilst I'll let you all get back
to wittering on about Eddie Hearn, Prizefighter and George Groves. :salut:

palooka wrote:I like Ovill, he's good entertainment and if he got a couple of good wins at European level it'd be nice if he got a big money shot. He does hit very hard and hard enough for world class men to know about it but I doubt Huck, Lebedev or Afolabi would be knocked out. A bout between Ovill and Ola would be a real bombs away affair.
Again Palooka, there is a difference between hitting hard, and KO power. That is all I was saying. And depending on opposition and ones own level will determine who you can or can't KO. Beating Dickinson and Conquest doesn't mean Ovil will bomb out Huck.

Again, there is a difference between punching hard and KO power - that's all I was saying. Malignaggi must punch hard because he would have been walked through in six rounders, what he isn't is a KO puncher.

Because he stepped up to fringe world class and he lost, so that's a good barometer of how well he would do
in genuine world class. :TU:

I am the twat but you do seem genuinely genuinely clueless.

A pity, because you would have learned something, basically the difference between hitting hard and the learning of and natural genuine KO power which is natural. Never mind - next time maybe eh?

Right, it is 8.26 am here in China, time to have my breakfast of oatmeal, walnut powder and a banana, yummy... laters! :TU:
