Prime Lennox Lewis Versus Prime Larry Holmes
Prime Lennox Lewis Versus Prime Larry Holmes
Prime Holmes, imho, is one of the all time great fantasy fighters and I see him as at least even money against any boxer who ever lived including the Easton Assassin.

Re: Prime Lennox Lewis Versus Prime Larry Holmes
I favor Holmes.
Overall, just a more consistent fighter. Faster hands, better jab. Enough power to keep the Brit honest.
Lewis had too many nights where he looked beatable. Outside of the Weaver bout and maybe an underrated Witherspoon, Holmes always shined.
The Easton Assassin stops Lewis late in a 15 rounder or takes a comfortable decision in a 12 round bout.

Re: Prime Lennox Lewis Versus Prime Larry Holmes
The only think Lewis has on Holmes is punching power and less than 2 inches in height. Holmes better in everything else . . stamina, handspeed, boxing skills, punch output, movement, chin etc. Holmes by decision and possibly late stoppage.

Holmes beats him handily. When I watch Lewis he reminds me of Holmes, only a poorer version of him.
