Angott will take on Ricky Burns

Duran didn't get a title shot this week, so he will take on Adrien Broner and wait to be a mando next week.

Battling Nelson is ready for anyone in the top 15...

:box:
First of all, it's "cut the muster"......so GBP will ignore any fighter who boasts about "cutting the mustard". Since anyone from a fast food background can do that. And we imagine Joe "fast food" Gans just might be able to as well.

However....it concerns us that you boast, and you will not back it up. So...to prove this.....Pernell Whitaker accepts Battling Nelsons' Challenge.
After you instruct your man to back down....we will move on to a more credible, and relevant challenge.

Cutting the mustard means to live up to lofty expectations, I know you work from a bastardised version of my native tongue but your assertion is simply foolish and transparently idiotic.

Refrain from taking your Old Masters name in vain. If Pernell wants a match then, maybe, just maybe, Gans will choose to beat him a third time. Oscar Nelson has had his fill of Slippery Petes pitty pats and deep squatting.
You sir are running a slipshod outfit.

Once again....it "cutting muster" not "cutting mustard".......though mustard cutting is about all you crew can accomplish.

Happy sandwich making to you sir.

English Grammar Rule - Cut the Muster or Mustard?

The saying (idiom) goes like this: Cut the Muster, not Cut the Mustard. The modern sense of the idiom is to succeed; to have the ability to do something; to come up to expectations.

Etymology or history: Its proponents often trace it to the American Civil War. We do have the analogous expression To pass muster, which probably first suggested this alternative; but although the origins of cut the mustard are somewhat obscure, the latter is definitely the form used in various sources of writing throughout the twentieth century. Common sense would suggest that a person cutting a muster is not someone being selected as fit, but someone eliminating the unfit.

We cut the muster, we select your organization as unfit.

Look, it doesn't take that much to be accurate in your communication.

Next time simply say.....Battling Nelson will face anyone except for anyone who we are scared to send him against.

That way when you knock, we'll know not to bother to answer the door just to smell the burning bag of poo you left on our doorstep.

By the way, you fooled the commish as well, he'll have to change the marquee, as he mistook your organization for one of those legit upright operations.

Ike Williams can have a shot at Armstrong. I was hoping to secure an easier defense this week anyhow.

Ad Wolgast will fight Angel Manfredy.

Crease.....please reprimand Tomasino and his errant organization for their despicable cowardly tactics. And encourage some of these other managers to step up to fill the void that "Rattling Nuisance" has left by his manager directing him to skipout on that boastful yet bogus challenge.

My Daughter has informed me to thank you for the complement.

Aside from that, being true to your word, makes you the Mother Theresa of the moment.

Your integrity is your reward, and the beating your man will sustain, will teach your camp far more than any victory over some riff raff opponent would have provided.

Well, Pea was one of the top 15 that you challenged......and he answered the door.

This is exactly the opportunity you sought....and we were the only ones to say "yes".

You are welcome.
