IBF MW Title
IBF MW Title
Strum just declined fighting N'Dam for the title Taylor was stripped of. Next in line is Saunders, but he will likely wait for Quillin/Lee winner. Then comes Lemieux. I would love to see how Lemieux could handle a moving target like N'Dam. If Lemieux wins, then unification with GGG will be also exciting.

Re: IBF MW Title
That wouldn't be an awful gamble for Billy Joe to fight for this vacant title if he can still get Peter & Andy to let him fight the winner. Idk how much I like Billy Joe's chances vs N'Dam is the only thing. But it'd be badass to see Billy Joe get the 6 figure Peter/Andy step aside fee, along with a vacant abc belt fight & than at the end of the rainbow a unifying abc belts fight. Ain't gonna happen obviously, but that'd be an epic move to pull off if it could be done.

Wouldn't surprise me if it happened, N'Dam would be easy to bring over to London and very beatable. If Quillin was to beat Lee, it would be hard work getting him to travel, Lee wouldn't be a problem of course. This way Billy Joe still gets his title fight, then if he wins, he either has a belt with regular paydays to follow, or a big money unification against Lee.ReggieDiggs wrote:That wouldn't be an awful gamble for Billy Joe to fight for this vacant title if he can still get Peter & Andy to let him fight the winner. N'Dam is a pretty good option for a world title fight. It can't get much easier than that.fergusg wrote: Therefore, I think you could be correct in believing that Lemieux will challenge for the IBF belt, but Hassan N'Dam is a really tough opponent for the Canadian, so it could be an unacceptable risk for GBP.
I do agree that if Chudinov beats Eubank, then he may become a decent option for GGG, but if Eubank wins, he is still too unknown and untested to challenge Golovkin.

but if bjs wins IBF, and LEE holds onto WBO
the unification between them 2 will set them up financially for life

Re: IBF MW Title
Lemieux/N'Dam would be an excellent fight. It being for a title is a bit silly as I'm not sure either of them is even a top 10 MW, but still an excellent fight nonetheless.
Re: IBF MW Title
Good for both of them. Both will have a beatable opponent, even though I expect N'Dam to take a decision.fergusg wrote:"N'Dam-Saunders Ordered By The IBF For Vacant Title"

"The IBF have ordered Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam (versus) Billy Joe Saunders for the vacant middleweight world title,” Gary Hyde, N’Dam’s manager confirmed on Monday after being contacted by the IBF."
I wonder if Billy Joe Saunders accepts this title challenge or if he’ll decide to wait for an opportunity to face the winner of the Quillin-Lee bout instead, which would probably award him the better purse?:??
Edit: Saunders haven't accepted yet. He has till Thursday to decide.
