Here's a guy who fights Hagler to a Draw........though Hagler was perhaps the greatest.

A fella who beats Tommy twice, and loses to Duran.
Both men formidable at their best.


I'm likin' the idea of this matchup, just to hear the opinions for either of these guys winnin' or losin to the other.

(How's about we drop Minter into this as well...vs Barkley. Cuz I just like the notion of the discussion.)


I'm not going to offer up a conclusion at this point, as I may change my viewpoint based on the feedback. But I don't think this has been discussed in the past.

Vito v The Blade. I'm picking Antuofermo, purely on the strength of his showing in holding on to his title against Hagler. I say he prevails despite heavy blood loss and takes a close decision. I don't think Vito rates as highly as James Toney, and doesn't have the wiles of Kalambay. But he's tough enough to stay on Barkley and do enough work to get the decision. I would have to watch some fights in order to be more technical in my appraisal of this, and I thank you Mr Buzz for giving some direction to my evening activities.

As for Minter, he won't lose to someone of Barkley's tone of pigmentation, if I remember correctly.
