Roman Greenburgs' next opponent will be Alex Vassilev , not a step up for him this, Vassilev is a durable plodding type of boxer, ready made for a mobile heavy like Greenburg. The only point of interest is if Greenburg can stop Vassilev or will he do his normal approach and just do enough to win.

I've not been overly impressed with him , but he did have a good win last time out. His promoters have said they don't want to rush him, but i can't see what he's going to learn from boxing the like of Vassilev, apart from doing the 12 rounds.steve689 wrote:Greenburg is going nowhere fast in my opinion.
As most have said on here its Greenburgs workrate that he needs to work on, he seems happy enough just outpointing his opponents, without breaking into to much of a sweat.
Hopefully by the summer he will step up his competition, we'll know more then.
I think this is a step up listen here...
He's beaten Vincenzo Cantatore, Wayne Llewllyn, Mark Potter, and has been in the ring with Nikolay Valuev, Serguei Lyakhovich, Johnny Nelson, Herbie Hyde, Fabio Eduardo Moli and Henry Akinwande.
And only Herbie Hyde managed to knock him out. I think he's a durable opponent for Greenburg and its a step up from his previous opponents.
