Vinny Paz , didn't like him either. Might of had something to do with Lou Duva who used to try and steam in on any Paz opponent as well.
I met Vinny Paz and he's a great fella,Lou Duva is a tit though,he was more aggressive than some of his fighters
Yeah, i'm only going by in the ring, outside someone might be a great person. I've met boxers who i like as a boxer but are a bit of a tit outside once you've met em.
I think Duva used to wind me up with his going after the ref etc, I liked Roger Mayweather and Duva came across as a right tit in that one when Mayweather fought Vinny

I was in ecstasy when Clev and Stevenson took out Bellew.
I very much enjoyed James Kirkland getting pancaked by Ishida in much the same
way that i enjoyed watching Katsidis take out Kevin Mitchell.

Broner running away like a broken school bully against Maidaina shouldbe the iconic boxing image
for the next 20 years by my reckoning.

It wasn't that he was beaten, because he wasn't! but i really enjoyed a shot, plump Erik Morales taking the piss out of Danny Garcia's punch technique (backfired later on admittedly!) in there first fight, Morales was brought in to look spectacular against and it didn't really work.

Lamont Peterson getting bounced by Matthyse was very enjoyable to.

i'm a very bitter man it seems.
DeGale is a good call.

He used to be a massive wazzock, but it looks like he has completed his education & has finally matured into a man.

I agree about DeGale, I remember when he first turned pro and prior to the bout he'd been giving it the "I'm like marmite, you'll either love me or hate me" routine and then seemed genuinely upset when the crowd booed his boring points win and then he dedicated it to Jade Goody (did he actually know her or was it some sort of PR stunt to win over the Hello crowd?). Seemed to mellow after the Groves fight and I actually quite like him now that he's dropped the superstar act.

I remember him looking a bit heartbroken about being booed.

I don't remember him dedicating his win to Jade Goody though. A quick google search reveals he has been seen in public with her widow though. So if he knew her, that's fair enough.

Anyone remember that ring entrance from degale were he had one of them awful urban london (c)rappers bring him in to the ring whilst another fella wiped imaginery dust off his boots and shoulders? :o

Like some have already said thank god he's grown up now.

It was very easy for groves to play the good guy in that bout as degale was such a knobhead at the time but when they fight again i would be supporting degale.

Groves' delusional whinging and odd behaviour has really got on my nerves pretty much since after the first froch fight.

Junior Witter getting beat and thrown out of the ring in the Prizefighter final with El Machi. Was fitting that someone with a dull as dishwater, awkward unusual style should get out-awkwarded in a bizarre 3 round fight.

Surprised at a few of the mentions!

It has to be Broner for me. Wasn't a huge fan of Maidana beforehand (although respected him). But after he destroyed Broner, I felt I had to go to his next fight, follow him on Twitter, Tweet my congratulations & rave about him to my friends (who don't follow boxing). I didn't do any of those things as I eventually calmed down. But what pleasurable viewing that was!

Eamonn Maggee used to wind me up for some reason, his posturing etc but I know he's supposed to be sound.

Whoever the US TV people are pushing (mostly US Olympians).
Roid Jones getting sparked was/is probably my favourite by a nautical mile.

Also, Donaire when he got beat by Rigondeaux--though his sad, brave war with Walters put him back in the "like" camp.

Khan - the arrogance and the hype really annoyed me.

Seeing Bellew lose isn't a chore either given what comes out of his mouth

It sounds horrible with the injuries he sustained but I was screaming at the telly when Nigel Benn began his fightback against Gerald McClellan.

He took a hammering from his bird in the dressing room! I used to really like Rhodes, but he did often seem like a Hamed imitator, but lesser. He's a good fighter, just not Naz. He also hot stopped by lee Blundell which was odd.

When I met him he was arrogant, disinterested and stand offish. Kind of put me off him.

There were mitigating circumstances behind the Blundell loss.

JCC XXL Jr getting turned over by Sergio was one of the highlights of the last few years for me, though I could've done without that last round.
