Real 50/50 fight this one for me, how does everyone see it going?

I think Flanagan may out work Ormond and pick up a points win, I wouldn't be surprised by any outcome though.

Couple of interesting fights on the undfercard too.Tommy Langford stepping up in levels against Wayne Reid should be good and Jamie Cox coming back at Middleweight plus Joe Costello.

Yeah the undercard isn't the most competitive is it, the main event is though so I don't mind as much.

I'd quite like to see Summers step up to some sort of title (Midlands or even a Masters) now. Read something in the paper that suggests he might be after this fight. Think they're looking at the vacant Midlands Area.

I think he had 2 possible midlands title fights fall thru but one is in the pipeline after this. Ryan aston needs to step up shame they didnt take the welborn fight.

If aston keeps it at distance him wide points but i cud see welborn stoppage. Wud go for the latter myself.

TBH i dont rate Aston, although i admit being an east midlands lad means that hes been more exposed to my eyes when hes had his 2 draws with Tyan Booth and his loss to Curtis Valentine. And guess what... hes got another Nottingham boxer again this time.... will lightning strike again

He signed with hayemaker wen he turned pro then joined matchroom so big things were expected of him. That loss set him back.

Can anyone shed light on the upcoming Ormond - Flanagan fight? I don't know much about either fighter, through they are both quality it seems.

Looking at records it looks a 50/50 fight thought it's priced Ormond 2/1 to win.

i dont understand the Chants about it being a 50/50 and cracking fight.
think flanagan wins this comfortably as he looks the buisness in fights ive saw of him , ormand i saw against appelby and Derry mathews.

hopefully it sets alight though but Flanagan rightly favourite for me and expect him to win well.

2/1 is great value on Ormond, it's a 50/50 fight for me, very difficult to split them, think Ormond might just edge it though. Both throw a lot of punches, especially Ormond, carry decent power and can be dragged into a tear up. Sort of fight that could turn into a real war, wouldn't surprise me to see both fighters on the floor, I think Ormond's workrate and greater big fight experience will be enough to carry him through to a close points win.

What i've seen of Flanagan, he wins this comfortably on points.

I'm going with Flanagan on points,he has more tools than Ormond I'd say,Stephen sets a vicious pace but Terry doesn't mind a tear up and can match him in the trenches after picking up some early rounds on the backfoot

Ormonds style is very effective and he was unlucky against Appleby and the win against Mathews showed that he can box at a high level so if Flanagan has any flaws,Ormond has plenty time to expose them,these WBO European title fights are usually 10 rounders but I suppose with this being an eliminator it will be 12?

Great fight though and it will be PF that's getting TiVo'd
